I think from what I am hearing that UQ have lost heaps through injury, retirement and moving on.

Lets hope that Norths can fire this year and we see something like Sydney has been the last few years where various clubs make it to the big dance.

Concentration of talent and results into a chosen few does not make for a good comp or the development of additional players to be able to step up.

Just seen that Brothers have picked up David Fusitua. Sheesh that's a handy pick up. Prolific tryscorer. Wonder how he'll go in union.

They need to rearrange their field configuration. That main field floods to often for them to keep dumping $$$ into it. They would be better off turning one of their training fields into the main as they are at least 10m higher.

Was at a junior 7s game at Norths on one of the upper fields a few years ago when it rained a lot and one of the club officials actually walked onto the field and said the field was now closed. There were puddles everywhere so it's not just the main field that struggles with water.

Like most fields in Brisbane after “it rains a lot”, including some clubs main ovals after not much rain.

Article in local rag says all good no major damage.
