QLD Premier Rugby 2025

The major semi was a great game of rugby but see that the Brothers Red Bib gent who is not a registered medic created some issues around the blue card in the second half. He pick the player up and pushed him back into play after he had been clearly concussed.
it is irresponsible of Brothers & the QRU to continue to allow this muppet to wear a red bib run up and down the sideline yelling instructions and racing past injured players in order to get his rugby messages to the huddle.
Brothers you are better than this so let him sit out the GF because what he did today was disgraceful and then in the middle of the field to what appeared to be questioning the referee’s blue card decision was not a great sight for rugby’s emphasis on player safety.
I missed this specific incident but I have a real problem with "medics" coaching from the sideline (and sometimes the field). There's giving encouragement and then there is straight up coaching which is what that "medic" was doing all game.

What happened to the Doggies? The best attacking backline in the competition and they failed to fire a shot!

I think Easts will get over Bond this weekend, hardly 100% confident but I feel like Tigertown have been cooking something special this year and will get to the GF.
They really missed that Number 8 in the wider channels. The best brain snap ever. Rucking the head of a player not once, twice, but 3 times in front of an international TMO and one of the most officious refs in the QPR (who had a great game BTW). That allowed Bond to D up really well in that first 30, If the 8 was on the field they would of scored and it's a different ball game.

Hes an absolute tool. When easts were in the 22 of brothers, he would walk along the in goal and sideline, telling players where to go and what to do. Also asking touchies what was that call for. Mate your job is to help players that are injured. Not go round asking referees what the calls were and whether they were correct.

I agree - Easts have had a good ability to win tough ones this year. They can get both Bond and Brothers. Best of luck to Bond though, they have been seriously impressive this year especially in the second half of the season.

Would the doggies had one of the great for&against points total this year

probably have to go back to some of those Heenan teams at UQ last decade to have a squad have a 300+ differential

anyways bet a lot of the boys would be disappointed - I think they’ll be back in the mixer next year

Let’s go Bond!!!

Just watched the replay of the Wests incident - that bloke must be one of the biggest peanuts going around QPR. Hopefully Elwee put him on blast after the game. I don't think his last pay cheque will be clearing.

I heard one of the Wests players vacated the field voluntarily late in the second half and wasn't present in the change rooms after the game. Couldn't see it happening on the replay though.

Not sure if it was the same player you're referring to, but one of the front rowers left the field straight after the final whistle up the stairs, didn't bother shaking anyone's hands. Seemed pretty pissed
