Anyone see that wests second grade on the weekend? Zac Hough playing hooker now and Ben Navo and Henry Speight.
Yes like Prems good quality game running game Wests up 5 tries to 3.

The long haired and certain to be 2025 cult player Jackson Barling ran riot and scored 4 tries - he can play any position 4 to 15 with speed skill and determination.

I’m a ZacH fan and he has a fair game along with
Navo and Speight but no other player was even a distant 2nd.

and I saw Angelo smith had a run in reserve grade

handy pickup when someone couldn’t be bothered joining the Tahs and finds himself back in Brisbane playing club rugby - wonder what happened there?

Buckets of rain predicted for the weekend, any rumblings about procedure if games get called off?

Particularly thinking of GPS at UQ since the university is very touchy about their grounds.

wests rugby also precious about fields but I suspect colts 1 & premier will get played

a very beneficial strategy if they go that way because it generally means Gold Coast has to travel mid week for a makeup game - works against you if the fixture @ GC and it gets rescheduled.

Yeah but there's no rebels bye week anymore so they no longer have to play in the rain to make use of the players being available.

2-3 years ago there was no competition bye full stop.

It’s good they bought that back becuase early rain in the year can be a huge headache for rescheduling cancelled games

Sorry if mentioned already, but what's up with Womens QPR this year and the new teams?

I would say the club social pages are probably a good place to look for updates. They will likely confirm before 5pm today what the status is.

Based on prior seasons and rain days, 1st Grade and potentially Prem Colts may be played but it is unlikely any lower grades or colts.
