nope wrong about wade, i was thinking of fidow
Simon Morahan played 3 years & older brother Luke played 2 in 1st XV with first 2 years together.S. Morahan played 3 years. THink you could be right about Butler though.
East Coast Aces At the time, Rebels wanted Tessmann because he was a "front rower"- he had played prop almost exclusively at Uni, then at Eastwood I think he went to hooker almost full-time. The Rebels wanted one person on a bench who could cover the 2 specialist positions. And on the bench he stayed.
Cat, having watched all bar one of their 4 games this season, I think the short turnaround was a factor but that is because I don't think their squad has much depth or quality to it and the level of fitness apparent in games shows they can barely keep pace with their opposition. I also think the environment down there is not good with a number of talented youngsters preferring to move to Brisbane clubs than play with some of the old heads that are still floating around like a ad smell
Crusher Do you think the four day turnaround was a factor for the Breakers at all?
Looking forward to Stallion thoughts on my dogs coming up this Saturday.
Hopefully not like last years result in the season ending match at Yoku Rd
Coady is a good player, no doubt and probably deserved an opportunity during the stretch when the Filth were at the top of the food chain but I think his best days are behind him. Best hooker in premier rugby is Maile Ngauamo, then Mitch Wade, then followed by Andrew Ready.I don't know Thierry, but for the Reds to over-look him is unfair, he is a good player.
Stallion it think you may be a bit surprised how things go come this weekend. Remembering that wests had not had as many minutes on the paddock as souths. honestly i dont know if wests will win but its i doubt it will be a long day at the office.
I actually thing pete nelson is playing solid footy this season and its not like he is that old anyway
Stallion re the Wests v Souths game last week. The Souths scrum at training this week were saying the exact same thing about the consistency or lack of consistency in the call for setting the scrums. The ref was Matt O'Brien, a very experienced ref., but maybe he has been refereeing a lot of Sevens lately and hasn't had to manage full scrums.
Just quietly FilthRugby, how good of a pick up was Michael Bond for you guys? I'd say Norths would be fairly dirty he returned to play at Crosby instead of Shaw Sports.quality player, with Murphy inside going great guns and Gendle still a force, Brothers arguably have one of the better if not the best 10,12,13 combinations in the comp.
Stal, awesome addition to the Brothers backline. I watched a bit of Jeeps v Easts last week, I really rate the 2nd rowers and the Number 7. Nick Frisby was good at fullback. Reckon you bloke are a chance mate?
I'm looking forward to watching the video of the game, wasn't able to get down to Yoku today. Can't say I was expecting any other result though, just too much firepower for GPS all over the park. Good to see Waita continues with his good form for the Bulldogs. Looking forward to seeing how young Greene went as well.Went out to GPS v Wests today - GPS were totally dominant. Wests kept trying all game but were just hanging on.
Final score 34-8 but have seen tweets claiming it was 38-8. Reality was that Wests scored from 1 of the only 2 visits they had into GPS 22 and GPS blew at least 6 sure tries with poor passes, poor options or dropped balls.
For Wests, Waita Setu was outstanding and Mick Lee was pretty good.
I can't recall a bad player for GPS - Nick Frisby brilliantly set up the first try and looked dangerous all day but also made a lot of mistakes. I thought Radike tried to do a bit too much on his own but was strong.
Where do the videos get posted?I'm looking forward to watching the video of the game,?
