So we move the GPS trials to the Gold Coast. This one makes a lot of sense!
31st May TGS vs TSSSo 30th May first trials start from what I can see BBC v ACGS. What other games are being held on the weekend or are the earlier trial games on. Looks to be all school not just 1st 15
[I know this is a rugby forum but nephew has no GPS tennis this weekend because NC do not have a single(nil/zip) grade 8 tennis team.
Most schools have 3 & BBC,BGS,GT & Churchie have 4.
They cant all be playing rugby ? piss poor. ]
The Guru - Actually Nudgee have one year 8 team - the 8D's.
The breakdown for Nudgee tennis is: 5A & B; 6A,B & C; 7A,B, C & D; 8D; 9A,B & C; 10 A,B & C; 11A & B; 1st, 2nd, 3rds.
Not all that piss poor after all!
Any predictions for GPS teams? So we move the GPS trials to the Gold Coast. This one makes a lot of sense!
Surely no one is stupid enough to think that a school is unable to field an 8A-C tennis team due to u13 rugby preseason. Really???
Is this published anywhere? Where on the GC? What time do they begin? All seems to be secret as I can't find any confirmation. So we move the GPS trials to the Gold Coast. This one makes a lot of sense!
That is the word at five of the Brisbane schools. They were told this week.Is this published anywhere? Where on the GC? What time do they begin? All seems to be secret as I can't find any confirmation.

Semisi Tupou only yr11 in Nudgee's team this year. Likely on the wing or fullback
Maybe Nudgee just doing everything in their power to avoid the 40 point touch ups they got in the 13As by BBC and Ippy last year..
Tennis Schmennis
If you have a close look at what some of the better programs are doing in Tennis and Basketball in opening up the sporting scholar pathways beyond their schools ..more insular programs like Rugby , and the Directors in charge of those programs, could really learn a lot from these other programs in how they initiate life experience and scholastic / career opportunities for their young men beyond the four walls of their schools ( and the four walls of their Rugby programs )[/quote]
Great point
Loads of GPS tennis & basketball players going to college in USA.
i hear BBC had around 7 boys in USA Colleges on tennis scholarships in last 2 years.
