Let me tell ya, this young fella, Nissi Vevesi, he’s the real deal. Born and bred in good old New Zealand, the land of hard yakka and harder hits, and he’s just made his way over to the not so mighty Brisbane Grammar School. And make no mistake, he hasn’t come over for a holiday.

This kid plays like he’s got fire in the boots and steel in the shoulders. Whether he’s charging through the line like a runaway train or putting on a tackle that shakes the ground, he’s running absolute muck out there. Got that tough, fearless edge. Always looking for work, never backs down. The kind of player every team need and every opponent dreads.

He’s not here for selfies or sideline chat he’s here for rucks, runs, and results. Deadset, it’s a joy to watch. If you haven’t seen him play yet, do yourself a favour and get down to a game. You’ll see what I mean.

What the dribble is going on. These BGS and year 10 GT (slang used by low IQ schoolboys)s are ruining the forum. We do not want Cyclopath to yield a large hammer and ban the GPS forum. Previously in 2024 the lack of Maturity caused the great D-Day ban (for those who remember). I'm sure if you speak to the @The Blin6side he is sick of this immaturity within this forum. GT will be taking on BGS and IGS in a threesome on saturday at Gaza (Tennyson's nickname for all of the veteran forum members). BGS look far improved this year, pumping heaps of money into their recruiting. This number 6, i believe his name is Nissi was absolutely fantastic on the weekend. He has all you can ask for. Size, aggression, skill, and a MOTORRRR!!! The matchup between GT and BGS will be fascinating.

IGS vs GT will be a good game too, keen to see how it plays out.


PREDICTIONS:

BGS v IGS - (17-5)
BGS v GT - (7-7)
GT v IGS - (19-7)

Indeed MM,
I have heard reports of the abysmal Gaza conditions - initially during cricket season it looked like a dustbowl - however a few forum members and I watched a soccer game recently there and the condition is incredibly muddy. Wonder if Terrace has any plans to tackle this leading into rugby season?

That field is looking mythical, wish these big tree trunks of mine still worked like they used to so i could tackle that field . That field reminds me of the kirra hill mudslide that formed during the cyclone .

Did anyone catch a glimpse of the 16As game? With the ground being so muddy, it would be so hard being a halfback passing the ball accurately when the balls are very wet and dirty. I heard the GT 16As halfback found it difficult to do so.

I’ve got to chime in on this one too.

Over the weekend, and mind you it wasn’t even close to the boggy mess that the GT 16As had to wade through, the Nudgee outside backs looked like they’d never seen a rugby ball before let alone caught one. It was honestly as if the ballboys had taken every Gilbert and dunked them in a vat of industrial-grade lube from the Albion Adult Emporium. Slippery doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Meanwhile, Brisbane Grammar and BBC seemed to have no such issues they were handling the pill with far more confidence and control. It does beg the question: is this just a one-off shocker or a genuine area of concern for Nudgee?

Perhaps a few sessions catching pineapples with the 5C cricket lads on Flat 6 might sort it out.
