Esteemed (for the most part ) Rugby Enthusiasts,

It is with a heavy heart and a limp hand that I type this message to you all. I have been quietly observing the discussions on this year's GPS forum, content to take a more reserved, hands-off role. However, the recent turn of events has left me no choice but to speak up.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

The behaviour I have witnessed - particularly the blatant impersonation - is both disgraceful and deeply disappointing. To the individual operating under the moniker "Game Played in Heaven", I say this plainly: you are a charlatan and a mockery of everything this forum has stood for over the years. It's got me reminiscing on that fateful day last year, "D" Day, where schoolboys thought it would be funny to water-hose this forum. It's not.

Cyclopath, I demand action. Game Played in Heaven has repeatedly violated the spirit and integrity of this community, making a mockery of me and what I stand for. For the sake of respect and MY love of the game, I demand that this individual be permanently removed from the forum.

This forum was built on mutual respect, informed discourse, and above all, a love for the game. Let us not tarnish.

Sincerely,
RC

"There’s no such thing as a bad day when there’s footy to be played."
Hey Ronald, I'm just tuning back in. What has the game played in heaven done? It sorta seems like you’re blindfolded, drunk, and firing shots in a crowded room—and somehow still aiming at him.

My nephew is in the team and he is great mates with Kingsley and I get most of the insights about the TSS team. My nephew is a great player, pure aggression and a menace all over the ball. He didnt get a great start to last year due to injury but he certainly has earn't his way back into the team and is one of the leaders of the team. #7 Ky Morris

Based on the changes, as much as i would like my nephew's team to win, I believe BBC's middles will be to strong and will get the on the front foot to take out the win. Also with TSS's raiders signed #15 "James Smith" being dropped to the 2 XV, they will lose some skill in the backfield.

Sometimes in school boy footy and all footy for that matter, some players need to play in different position to benefit the team. In this case Kefu must be able to play to play 10 reasonably well and harry sounds more than ready to slot into that 9 position. Interesting to see how this one pans out.
Cheers
Kef hasnt played 10 since Under 12s. Different pass, different kick and different game for the two positions. Munro has set the world on fire at training. Coach Leo is compromising position specific kids for better players. And look at his selection as Reds Under 18 coach. Was it 9 BBC boys ? He picked Kefu over Alfie (Australian schoolboy) and is now picking Munro over Kefu ? Kiama is one of the better players but there is already internal argument with coaching staff as to why they experimented with him at 12 instead of 8. He has been ineffective to date. Lucas Burrows of TGS shut him and played all over him two weeks ago. Now we see one of the best ball runners in the comp Jonah Wilde playing 15 when he isn't quick enough and cant kick well enough. He is a natural 12. But Leo making sacrifices to get the kids he prefers on the paddock. Nat Barnett one of the most aggressive 15's around will be put on wing.

Good Morning fellow forum members, here are my predictions for this upcoming weekend of trials.

BGS - 17 v GT - 14
BGS - 12 V IGS - 10
GT - 19 V IGS - 5
These games should be interesting, late game i believe kicking off around 4PM i think BGS are the favorites for this three way. The BGS v GT game will be very competitive as they are both looking good going into this game. I believe BGS number 10, will not be in this game as i have heard he sustained a serious neck injury (prayers for the young boy). But Eljiah Breen and Nissi will steer his troops to the win in this. IGS don't stand a chance i believe against these 2 solid teams.

TSS - 10 v BBC - 19
BBC should win this game with ease if they are playing a full side. Although TSS has a strong team, i think BBC has done more and knows how to utilize their strong backs. This game won't be won through the middle, it will be in the backs where there is a clear difference in skill.

ACGS - 5 v NC - 28
Nudgee have an extraordinary side they will easily win against churchie

TGS - 10 v BSHS 12
I don't know much about these teams but i think state high will come away with the win. I have seen them play a few trials and look like a well rounded team.

Cheers,
D.F

Hey fellas,

Rumours have it, Kingsley Uys and Elijah Galloway from TSS have been dropped to the 2XV for a run this weekend against BBC.They believe they are to big and unfit at the moment to handle the full 70 minutes and will be brought back up when they get fitter.

Interesting, I would have said drivel however it appears there may be a reason for this "rumour". Some sort of mistake by the admin team at TSS??? Below is literally the 2nd XV team as listed on the TSS sport web page (as of five minutes ago). No team list posted there yet for the 1st XV as yet. Rugby Explorer though, has both Uys and Galloway listed in in the team line-up for the 1st XV. Someone in Rugby Admin at TSS is having a bad day?

Yeah mate, some good ideas there. I would happen to agree with that assertion, but would like to present my own idea.

I think ACGS have the potential to put up an electric 9-15 this year. With Austin in control with plenty of first XV and rep experience, I have no doubt he will step up this year. In addition Treyvon Pritchard is one of the talents of the GPS. Before injury last year, he was literally tearing up backlines, and lining up at 12 so far I think he will be taking on the line every play and doing some serious damage. Correct me if I'm wrong, but will Underwood be lining up at 15 this year? Nevertheless, with that spine and players of impact I believe they have potential to be a great backline.

T.B
Hey TB, Definitely, plenty of talent and potential in there. Will be good to see how they go this weekend with a big matchup against Nudgee
