Not really uncommon now days NC, BGS, BBC do it aswell. And I’m sure there‘s more… The only schools that wouldn’t do it is BSHS and GT as they don‘t have boarding houses.Yes. Including going shopping in NZ for players.

Never heard of this cup, is this a new thing? sounds like an interesting comp.Referring to the so called IGET 5th and 6th XV Cup, an extremely interesting weekend of rugby union is coming up.
ACGS 5th XV vs GT 6th XV - 8:30 (NC Flat 1).
This Churchie side is coming off a narrow loss against a strong TSS side losing 7-0 in their round 1 fixture. Whereas, this GT side had a convincing 20-7 win over BGS 3rd/4th XV.
This game will be followed by ACGS 5th XV vs NC 7th XV - 0900 (NC Flat 1)
I‘m keen to see this Nudgee side as they haven’t played a game this year, but I’m expecting a well oiled line out and a flashy backline.
Then, for the final fixture the GT 6th XV will vs NC 7th XV - 0930 (NC Flat 1)
This game will serve as a warm up for both sides before their hit out in round 9’s Battle of the Colours.
TGS 6th XV will be facing TSS 6th XV - 0900 (Village Green).
I‘m backing the boys from the darling downs by 3.
BGS 5th XV vs ACGS 7th XV - 0900 (BGS - Number 1).
Thus, my tips are as follows
GT by 5
ACGS by 12
GT by 7
TGS by 3
ACGS by 10
Only one ippy player? And a terrace player even though they got domintated?. Makes no senseCourier Mail's GPS First XV Team of the Week:
1. Kingsley Uys - TSS
2. Charlie Hollyman - Terrace
3. Harrison Humphreys - TGS
4. Rupeni Baravilala - TGS
5. Tavita Loughland - BBC
6. Ben Di Donna - Nudgee
7. Keegan Cook - TGS
8. Gray O'Neill - BBC
9. Alfie Bowman - Churchie
10. Tyson Walker - IGS
11. Barry Taukolo - Nudgee
12. Killarney Lavender - TSS
13. Adam Davis - TGS
14. Oliver Patterson - Nudgee
15. James Smith - TSS
Yeah tend to agree that IGS possibly hard done by to not have one player named this week in the 1 to 15 given the convincing win. The story did give a mention to few other players referred to as "Super Subs" in the article and four Ippy players were on the list (Mostyn Bowen, Tannar Baker, Brock Coombes & Hemi Rakuita).Only one ippy player? I have heard some rumors on the grapevine thats for sure, sounds like an interesting bit of competition for some more experienced GPS watchers, will show how dominant the depth of some schools are.Never heard of this cup, is this a new thing? sounds like an interesting comp.
Walker was picked at 10. But you’re right, could have had more.Yeah tend to agree that IGS possibly hard done by to not have one player named this week in the 1 to 15 given the convincing win.
