Ignoring this useless dribble, heard rumours that the Pitbull is coming back to support BBC this weekend? Will he be included in any of the cheers and the student area? Highly interested in this as the Pitbull is a BBC Idol.

Keen to see if the ACGS performance on the weekend was a one off, and keen to see how BGS goes in there first match of the gps season. They have had good performances in the trials and went alright with a win from the predominantly bomb squad side on the weekend against DC. Does anyone think a GPS school will lose to Downlands this year and if so who?

Cheers, D.B

Attention everyone @jacko wanted me to say this on his behalf… ”I’m so sorry that I haven’t been running the tipping comp. My condition has worsen and I will be remaining in the hospital for the foreseeable future. I hope to make a hasty return, and get my tips in. Good luck to all the schoolboys on the weekend in their respective games, whether that’s the 16D’s or the 1st XV play hard but most importantly have fun” - Jacko.

Hopefully jacko recovers well, had no clue he was in hospital.

Goodluck and best wishes, D.B

Hey D.B, its been a hot minute since we've seen a member of the Greater Public School association lose to the great Downlands College. However, with a weakened comp this year, and mastermind Jordan Smith at the helm, they have a chance. It'll be tough, although I can see them having an opportunity come August 30th when Gregory Terrace make the long trip up the Warrego. Terrace is looking down the barrel of one of their worst years in recent memory and with the screws seemingly already coming undone after a Tyson Walker masterclass last weekend it would not be the most shocking thing in GPS sporting memory if the other boys from out west were able to put the nail in the coffin of the disaster that is GT150.
Thats just my 2 cents, keen to see what others think,

Cheers.

Yeah DB - this will be an interesting game. Churchie's trial form looked ordinary and BGS trial form was much better than I was expecting to see. No R1 game for BGS and Churchie surprisingly, to me at least, drew (and almost won) against TSS. I'm struggling to pick either way with any conviction however I'm in the Tipping Comp thread so I have to make a call - BGS to get their first win in a while (by 5 points).

Keen to hear about what is happening in the terrace camp after the weekends result @Quick_Tap_Tony normally has a pretty good inside scoop on what is happening at GT.

Cheers, D.B
GT are ready for BBC round. I wouldn't be counting the boys from spring hill out just yet. They've got a heap of tikka coming through the ranks and it will be a close game this week i think.

I’ve been rewatching the R1 TSS Vs ACGS and my god how undisciplined was the TSS team in the first 20 minutes, I could count atleast 10 penalties they gave away, and chruchie had a 9 point lead off basically no attack and just kicking up the field and taking points. I think if grammar can identify the offside line, scrum correctly, and show some discipline around the ruck, they should be able to comfortably beat churchie. But this is a major area of concern for TSS if they wanna keep their season alive they can not possibly give as many penalties away against Toowoomba cause they won’t be taking the 3 they will come for all 7 points every time.

Cheers, D.B

Talk about DRIBBLE !
Struggling to comprehend how this is dribble, Rugby Fanatic is trying to gauge the culture of a strong team this season that will probably make a good run to put themselves in contention for a premiership. They are simply trying to understand how the 'gears shift' in the beast that is BBC this season. Cant go around waterhosing everyone in the forum calling dribble Keenas.

Anyways, that's just my thought on the dribble predicament we face in this forum.
Cheers, RHH
