Crowd of 48,515. You'd be lucky to get half that playing the Argies here.

Yeah he admittedly did have a pretty good game. I thought Genia, Cooper, Kerevi, Haylet-Petty, Hooper, Timaniand Coleman all had good games. The front row struggled a bit and the refereeing killed the spectacle

Not the most comfortable or pretty win but definitely take that for best-of-the-rest. Although, you could argue we only got it because we played this games at a neutral venue. I've already categorised this whole year as "building", which is fair enough in year-1 of the WC cycle. Blooding new players, some of whom look the goods- Kerevi, DHP, Coleman. 10 and 12 still unsolved, would love to have Beale back. Hopefully Moore is just there as an old head to see these new guys through.

i think its more that 12 is unresolved. Cooper did a lot more good then bad tonight and was much more involved then Foley was. i would love to see a backline of:

9. Genia
10. Cooper
11. Naivalu
12. Kerevi
13. Hodge
14. Folau
15. Haylett-Petty

I know he only had a cameo but leroy looked right at home. I want him at 8.
It was a nice little demo of number 8 skills and nous to win the scrum penalty at the end.

I thought DHP stated a good case to either switch with Folau or give Folau a rest and give Naivalu a run.

Glad it didnt finish 7 pt margin after frog ref bottled DHP's kncok-on early for Colemans try.

Seemed like Aus didnt have to do too much, make their tackles, biff in a few head highs, keep the d line and let the Argies faff around in their own half playing their offload game, until they cough it up, trytime down the other end.

Amongst all the talk about who is our best 10, who should be 12, the second row merry go round, etc, I reckon our biggest issue is our discipline. There were 2 games v England and one v the boks that we out-tried the opposition but lost because of their boot. Aside from that it really affects our momentum so is a real double whammy.

Fix that and we're easily #2 in the world.

Pretty scrappy game and not really much of an enjoyable game to watch. Not worth getting out of bed for that one.

Would like to see DHP at fullback and Folau at either wing or 13 (if move Kerevi to 12). Yes now swaying that Foley can't stay at 12, so perhaps move Kerevi in.

Hodge at wing not a fan. Bench option for my mind once we find a wing replacement over time with a few options expect to emerge there over next 6 months.

Did not really notice much of Timani - not really been convinced he is long term 8.

To be fair, I though Foley did mostly what he needed today. Straightened the attack when he needed to and played second distributor out wide.

I would like to see that backline as well though. But it won't be in the next game - too many changes from one test to the next.

Cooper is doing ok, certainly better than Foley at 10, but still too lateral. Would like him to challenge the line more, not just doing that jiggy-jig step every time he's in front of a defender. Plus if Foley is gone, what is his goal kicking like these days?

Cooper definitely was too lateral today, i think with more game time this year and with more confidence that will change. and we dont know what his goalkicking is like at present because he hasnt had the opportunity to kick. but based of of his career we wont lose much in that department.
