I think we need a database of nick names. It is hard to keep up with them sometimes.

So just to get it started here are some I know off the top of my head. I'll up date this post to include any additions.

Make sure you include the players actual name when you post a nickname. Some of them aren't as obvious as you think.

What's the go with Dingo Deans? Calling somebody in Australia a Ding is hardly flattering and he certainly is not a Dingo. Aussie Bob is heaps better.

James Horwill - Big Kev.

Matt Dunning: Bouncer

Haven't heard that one. I thought Matt was called Tucky, after Friar Tuck, that memorable monk who thoroughly enjoyed tucking into his tucker. Of course, there is a physical resemblance.

Since when is AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) a Count? I thought he was just an Earl? You can't get promoted, can you?

Definately an Earl - From his Wiki page:

Ashley-Cooper’s family descends from the sixth Earl of Shaftsbury, Cropley Ashley-Cooper (1768-1851). The Earl represented Dorchester in Parliament for 21 years and was a descendant of William the Conqueror.

I wonder if he posted that himself...

"The Count" is Anthony Minichello's nickname because he looks like Count von Count from Sesame Street.
