Didnt realise Nankivill was that good.

God I hope Vaai usurps penalty magnate Scrote Tenured-Family Barrett Bongo Brain in the AB lock pecking order

Well that was pretty good. Crusaders deserved the win over a pretty good Chiefs team. By geez there one or two reasonable players out there tonight.

Did Havili seal the No 12 spot for ABs tonight?

I could not believe the amount of replays they had to have and yet still came up with yellow. Hit. Him. In .The. Head.

The TMO was trying to tell him he had him high chest area (which looked right to me ) but for some reason the refs on field couldn't hear. No way I thought it a Ref, that is supposed to be DIRECT contact to head. I actually thought the refs made a bloody good job in the game.
Have to add that Richie Mo was very very good, the 2nd half he just ruled the game.

Grassroots Rugby is back: I see they've lost the Mainfreight sponsorship but the Wet & Forget replays are still there as are Kamo & gravel-voice Andrew Mason. Currently pretending they're at Manurewa v Papakura. Hopefully at some point they'll pretend to be at Levin Athletic v Levin Wanderers :).

Edit: wtf? It appears Athletic don't have a Prem team this year but they did beat Wanderers 23-7 in Reserves yesterday & are currently second to COB. No Wanderers in Prem either & only COB, Foxton & P'ram have teams in both grades. Sad to see, that.

Edit: Manurewa prop playing his 100th gets given the last conversion: never kicked a goal in 99 games & still hasn't in 100. Gotta love this game!

I just been having a peek at draws WOB, picking which games I will be able tp sneak up to. Naki are playing home games at Inglewood, only abou 45 minutes away, so can catch a few there. Only trouble first one is Sunday Aug 29th, I may struggle to get back from Wellington as I think I will be down there for Bledisloe game on Sat!

^ that's a real conundrum innit? Just remember the Expressway cuts out Levin & Waikanae/ P'ram so there's fewer roadside "distractions" to waylay you....

Once again Mighty 'nua don't have a game in Te Kuiti or Te Aroha & everywhere else is a bit far.

The expessway finishes at Otaki mate, I was down at Welly last week at granddaughter's uni grad.
I had a peek the Nua at Wanganui, so maybe on down at Wanganui in August, so need to see how that works to, only an hour away.
nearly went down to Levin for athletic's old timers day last saturdy but after being doen in welly during week just struggled to have energy, besides wanted to wander over to Kaponga for a bit of REAL grassroots stuff.
