NZ Domestic Rugby 2021

If it's the same article I read last night it doesn't say much. But if you want to brave NewsTalk, then they have an audio of the interview with the journalist. As per him, seems there's a split between players and coach(es) which has been there since 2018 or so. No idea how they've ended up being second only to Tasman over the last few years with that chaotic backend.

Might not bode well for Ieremia's Super Rugby/Moana Pasifika coaching aspirations.

EDIT: The NewsTalk link with the interview:

https://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/on-air...eview-could-lead-to-revolt-at-auckland-rugby/

Interesting, what I been reading from a someone who seems to have pretty good scource in Auckland/Blues (ie has actually given real accurate info on teams a few days before press etc) and he reckons players reckon Iremia is well out of depth and Dan bowden has been the brains behind the team.

Top bid so far is $3K but I'm sure it'll do for way more than that.

Mate I think he should of gone in a couple of weeks back. I think he will struggle, but rather have a 19yo from Canes area , than a 12 from Counties!

Landers vs Chiefs, good keen tussle between these 2 relegation zone toilers.

The Auckland Blues have a bye this weekend so there is no top of the table clash.

lol@comments from asst coach and loyal British subject RIKI FLUTEY.

FFS the rugby nationality rules are such a sham. Laughing stock. Just make it 10 years already.

Riki Flutey is about as British as Prince fucken Tui Teka.

By geez that was ok. Still buggered if I very keen on golden point, draw is still a result, but anyway.
Thought for Chiefs Luke Jacobson and DMac were bloody good. For the clan Frizell was huge, hell he playing good rugby.

Was it just me or did that match seem to go on for about 4 hours?

Just vast stretched-out tracts of time-warped tedium.

No just you DP. You were sitting on the edge of your seat waiying for Blues players to do something, and they weren't playing :D

FFS what wounder is responsible for randomly throwing these matches on early.

EDIT: And surely McNuggets is taking the piss with this one. Pretty sure Hodge's heroic attempt in the Bledisloe wasn't this far.

Well, fair enough. He had the distance for ~65 metres.

While I think this challenge thing is a bit naff, are the Hurricanes not allowed to appeal for the leading elbow from Dunshea to Umaga-Jensen's face?

If you're gonna have Golden Point (& other than in a Quarter-, Semi- or Grand Final I don't believe you should) ffs take the DG off the table. Try or PK only & PK should have to be for foul or cynical play, not technical stuff.

F*** me I hate golden point, ruination of a bloody proper result!
Still I loved the game, geez I couldn't believe how well Canes went. Still why I love this game, top of the table and unbeatable? And we bottom of table? Stuff that we gonna still give it a crack!

How good was Ardie today? Imagine if he hadn't fucked his knee, prick probably would've won the game with a Zinzan-styles DG from 60m with >30sec on the clock.

Edit: I still wouldn't have him as my AB 7, tho, for mine Papali'i gets that gig.
