NZ Domestic comps

It was a bloody good game I thought WOB, I was more than happy with it. Thought the Taniwha ran out of ideas etc, though I suspect that had a lot to do with the Naki defense. It was quite brutal at times. By geez Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens is bloody good at exploding into any little gap , and Naki forward were hitting fairly hard. For the Taniwha Corey Evans looked the best at creating gaps, but I genuinely think Nock and Rehana (in particular) would of been disappointed with their games. Jacomb looked a lot better 10 than Reihana.

Another decent turnout for arvo footy even if the result was a little hard to take....

There was a telling stat put up at 10-0: BoP two visits to opposition 22, Mako five. Gotta turn those visits into points.

Geez WOB the results didn't go your way did they. I was a little surprised at scoreline of the Bay/Tasman game, but seemed pretty well how game went. Was well worth coming straight home from golf to catch game, as I thought it was entertaining .

@waiopehu oldboy had an interesting thought yesterday. People talk about crowds at NPC (which were good again I thought), bit I reckon in general more people in NZ go to NPC live games than go to Super games or probably even test matches if you think about it.

Yeah, the ball ended up looking like an old-school leather one & even the ref's jersey had mud on it. Footy like it used to be back in your heyday, Dan.
