Yes ok thanks. The shore score board should show the teams and scores, like the joeys boardWas in the 4ths game, played at 1.00pm - thus the confusion i am guessing.

Could we in next couple of weeks see a Shore Win. Two very competitive losses, against Newington (19-26 & Kings 7-16 indicate that Shore are improving by the week. Its imperative for GPS Rugby that we have 6 strong rugby schools who, on their day can beat either one of the other schools. This year we are coming closer to that reality and the long- term winner is Australian Rugby.
A comment regarding Joeys v New. There was a bit more spite than a usual fixture. In the 2nds New copped a yellow in the first half for repeated cycnical play and a general observation was of general bad form during that game by New.
Worst of the day belongs to the New 1sts no 14, hurling abuse at an injured player. Ugly form to say the least.
Agree, a fair note to make by @SDW about the lineouts, and similarly the earlier one by @Sidesteppa about the nightmare conditions yesterday for both hookers to be throwing in on their own lineouts, especially when putting the pill back in from the Western touchline, fair into the gale coming up and over the BH escarpment. Felt sorry for them having to do so.Fair point, although remember they were 'highlights'. The line out 'steals' generally make the cut; I know I edited out at least one line out successfully secured by the no.5 v Scots yesterday. I will put up the 'near-full' footage of that game [probably upload it overnight], and later on in the month also that of the earlier games. Have been a bit too busy to do it lately.
Another "seer" in our midst. The order in that table looks remarkably familiar. <Thinking. Thinking> Oh yeah. That's the order I predicted in the GPS Season Preview before round 1, except that I had kings and view the other way around

Is there an updated list yet for the top try scorers this season?

I thought it was TAS's decision to play in the 3rds comp rather than 1srs & 2nds.Just a thought but if Shore were to go a second season without a win and TAS were to win the 3rd XV competition unbeaten, should they be given the opportunity to play off against Shore for a place in the higher competition next year?

Aloy boys?? Who are they? What were they doing There?Kings v Shore -
The Kings pack, in the scrum at least, were quite dominant over their opposition. Without the U19 law, suggest their would have been a number of tightheads to Kings. The Shore prop before the concussion was playing very well and happy for him to be vying for a rep jersey with Cutler from Riverview. Happy to go with the opinions about Kings back row but thought the #7 Ryan played well. Kings have a habit of going for mobility in their scrum over size but the 2nds prop who came on in the 1sts after a rampaging MOTM game in the seconds has put the coaches on notice and looks like he is cut from Grecian marble as his background suggests. I though Osborne and Rixon all but blotted each other out as they matched each other for pace but much the case across the backs except Orpen for Kings who does a good Nathan Grey impersonation with his direct running. Osborne's first half one he may like to forget with a couple of unusual errors for him. The Shoreman I sat next to was wondering why their #9 was having an off game before realising he was a late replacement for Haskins. The referee was a class act. Think he is our main man bound for the Olympic Sevens to officiate. Great to have those sort of guys doing premier schoolboys. Good
crowd considering the weather and the support showed by both schools made it a great day. Great to see all the Aloy boys getting their rugby fix for the day in the crowd.
Agree @ GPSO. Newington are my smokeys to cause some level of havoc on the Premiership table through Round 2, with Kings next up to face that particular music, albeit with the benefit of home ground advantage. After 15 games of round 1, Shore Newington and Joeys have won 3 games between them. Those sides are starting to look threatening and this competition may well be decided, not on the form of the top three, but on who ran into the bottom three when they turned up to play.
