Well done Azzuri - there'll be no room left on the bandwagon now.;)

Last seen at North Parramatta late today.
Chief Engineer Azzuri sounded like he was whistling "Choooo-woooo"

I'll have to wick up my marketing speil as I'd predicted they'd be out before thirds ran on! Will leave it to you @NIS to calculate my commission payment!

The kings foot long snag roll with onions and American mustard had my vote today

I can vouch for the Chief Engineer of The Kings Express. I witnessed his methodical demolition of 2x Kings Foot-longs while holding forth perfectly sensible conversation through the 4ths match today.

Am not sure Az will be able to do the same next week chowing down on a Joeys "Rowers Lot" with RM2.

Think it's going to be too hard to swallow the Rowers lot with RM2's hands wrapped around my throat!

Excellent stuff @HFTH. You showed remarkable restraint eating just one!

2 kings boys just combined well for the Waratahs first try of the second half (I know, wrong thread). I was in Broughton many years ago so loving your school spirit.

Yes indeed ... Great to see Mumm and Phipps going so well for the Tahs!

Throat safer option if the Kazahstani (sic) tailors come through:cool: and it is a Kings home game so you will have to wait for Round 2 for the Rowers Lot.

Ah yes forgot we are at still at the home of the True Believers again next week.

Not to worry, we'll have the Kings version of the Rowers Lot ready and waiting. Its called Salems Lot, featuring Stephen King on BBQ!

The actual LAST PIE

Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

I was at another sporting event today and had a very unfortunate experience with a pie, which was not only red hot, but had a base so hard I needed a chisel to get through it. 10 hours later I can still taste it (and it's not a pleasant taste).

The very sight of that pie means that I'll be getting to Northbridge at least once this year.

In fairness, today has seen a bit of an improvement from Shore across the age groups. At least in the A teams they seem to have got closer, big scores to Joeys in most of the other games.

Today:
16A Joeys 24 def Shore 22
14A 10 all draw
13A 33-0
15A ?
15 B Joeys 35 def Shore 24

NB - It's actually a 6 team competition:)
Last year round 5, the first time they played each other in the Comp

1sts j 39 v E18
16A j19 def E 0
15A j48 def E 0
14A j48 def E 0
13A j65 def E 5

16As competition looks to be a cracker.

Throw the form guide out, all teams in the hunt. Fantastic schoolboy footy on offer.

For the sceptics, any of the 6 teams competing in A comp deserve your attention.

View got pumped last week by joeys and lost by a converted try this week against new.

Shore could have beaten joeys this week and fell at the bell 24-22.

Kings beat scots on the bell this week after last weeks draw with new.

What a wonderful competition we have to behold in the weeks ahead!

Jim they are always a different proposition up there but I am still seething at some of the schoolboy errors - oh hold on, they are schoolboys.
Ive been told its just a game, too.

Laughs. Quite right, IS. I sometimes wonder how I would have behaved under G&G scrutiny. You know, Belshaw's stupid failure to tackle X allowed a try! I'm naturally competitive, so my rugby would probably have improved. But still, it is just a game.

So at the end of round one in the thirds comp, it's TAS in front on for and against. And the team I'm watching? Kings after their defeat of Scots. It was close, 17-12, so I guess that we will have to wait and see how they both go in the next round. i can't triangulate then properly yet.
