Not sure about that one. Kennewell has been in great form, 2014 NSW II's. King is going very well also, but last year Dan England was GPS I's IC so he will be in the mix again, with some talk of Murray from Newington also. There's certainly some strong contenders for the 12 and 13.

If either of those passes weren't intercepted by teh wingers View were in to score. No doubting the first half was close but the end result was 7 tries to 0 with only 3 (or 4) scored during the yellow card period. Shows how costly it was but by then the momentum was with Joeys. Joeys defence was also outstanding especially the try saver to stop the View 14 scoring. View seemed to fade in second half which was the case vs New.

I would have to agree with you
I also think that there are changes needed in their 2nds and 3rds to get the combinations and balance right

Realistically, early predictions can only be based on form up to the end of last season as I doubt anyone other than selectors will have seen all the teams play or have access to the form of players over the three games that lead up to the GPS squads selection on 13 June. Sure, the standouts from previous squads would seem to have a hand on a rep jumper if the they are playing well but as we've seen in the past incumbency is not a guarantee.

Is Sheldon playing 10 or 12 for School this year?

IIRC he played 10 for AAGPS Blue, or White, last year after originally being named as a 12.

How does everyone think shore are shaping up this season. Yeah they lost those two games against kings and joeys but they where a pretty tough outfit. I guess we'll see against Riverview

As much as I hate to say it, I think Shore will be picking up the wooden spoon this year. They've come up against Joeys and Kings which are both tough teams this year, but I still think that they don't have what it takes to inflict any major damage. That's just my opinion however, what are other people thinking?

^^^ It is a long season with plenty of games to go. Performances will fluctuate over the season as injuries take their toll, and combinations begin to click. Consider the 101-0 thrashing of Newington last year by Scots at home, and the score in the return match at Newington.

One of the endearing features of AAGPS rugby is that there is always surprise victories with very few games being foregone conclusions.

Yeh you never know with shore they can come off the back of a big loss then next game they will beat the expected premiers.
