Interesting both Joeys 13a's and b's lost to Scots last year, but this year have two new players who just happened to played for Sydney under 14's. Just sayin'

Well you guys would know.there is no one that goes through that program in finer detail than your fellas!
Just be glad they haven't worked out what the PSSA is yet!
It will get harder if you have to compete with more than one School to identify kids that are talented with the triangle!

Almost everyone? As much as it pains me to say it, but you go talk to anyone outside of the schools and the only scores they know are the 1sts. Can't deny the truth mate

The proper measure of a school's rugby is, IMHO, did the kids learn something about the game, about team work and about life and did they try to do their best?
If "yes" is the answer to all of those things then I'll bet they enjoyed it.
The schools dont exist for the people outside them and so how they measure the school's rugby "performance" doesn't matter one bit.

youd imagine that Dan kilpatrick would slot into the team, either at prop meaning they would move bowditch to second row, or just play the dubbo lad at 5.
Menzies will slot back into 7, joe stagemen most likely at 12 with his defence being immaculate this year

Watched the 16a's on sat at joeys, i think you will find gabe cooper take the role of number 9 in 2014, he was originally ment to go on the Gold Coast tour but couldnt due to family commitments. He played a great game on Saturday and cant wait to see him develop as a player throughout next year. Unfortunately i just dont think Dan Rorke can play up to the level of 1st XV at the moment. Another year in the 2nds may do him some good and develop him enough to play 1st XV in 2015

JB - how does that place TAS with a few rounds to go?

I'm not sure since I haven't seen consolidated results. I think the top point score at te end of the round will be TSC 12, SJC 10, Kings 10 and then TAS and SGS each on nine. TAS was in front on for and against, but may be behind now.

To a comment earlier, my impression is that the View team did play well initially, above themselves, but were then worn down.

Brian Westlake, He has already admitted on another thread that he knows he shouldn't use hands in the ruck but he does.

I reckon Inside Shoulder was a blind side flanker in his day.

Also given his profession, they love to have the last word.

I acknowledge that Joeys are the benchmark in GPS rugby and probably in Australian schoolboy rugby, but unless you have a boy currently at Scots, don't bother commenting on the rugby programme at Scots.

Sorry I had to go so far back, but my high horse as a rather large turning circle... ( somewhat like some ego's) .
Is the Rugby program going to be more successful than the Cricket Program? ie Messrs Kelly Skelly etal ?

My only comment would be if you are going to go all "Die Walkure" on us instead of "The Ride of the Valkyries" then don't forget the umlaut, it's "Die Walküre". (use alt button and 0252)
