Well, there you go: a slight scare for the boys and the Kings insurance underwriters. I didn't see the fence go: just watched the boys rush down and the players rush over; then I scooted off.
Talking of insurance matters: it's convenient to park near the crowd on the hill, but on the playing side of the road (eastern side) cars can be parked on the verge facing downhill. I turned my car around so I could drive out after the game, lickety split, but I made sure that I put a couple of rocks behind the tyres. If some of the other cars had faulty parking brakes the cars could clean up a few folks watching the game
There should be no parking on that verge area and they should have a marshal there to see that it doesn't happen. It's probably not an official spot to park but folks like me park there all the same. Think I'd better call the school on Monday.
