So this week we have the Catholics belting each other at Heaven's Gate while the Anglicans do battle at Stirling Bridge. That's somewhat mischievous scheduling by the organisers. The lesser Christians will have to satisfy themselves with a battle for the leftovers at Stanmore.

I wonder if the respective archbishops will be in attendance at Hunters Hill and Northbridge? And, will they be required to issue the last rites? Or hear confessions?

The list is a great effort by a great contributor who compiles it in a short timeframe. Produce your own list if you don’t like it.
View are deserving premiers and have conducted themselves brilliantly. Perhaps a few of their online supporters could learn some lessons from them. Objectivity can be challenging in the teenage mind.
No, it was utter tosh, as was this post. A teenage mind indeed. Comment, banter, opinion, points of view.

The Archbishop of St Joseph’s College (@Joker ) will be in attendance.

Can also confirm that Pope Francis is coming out of retirement to watch it go down. Word is, depending on his health he may be storming the pitch.

Could this be Scots Mascot for 2026.....getting rolled out at home games.

"Who on earth would buy a two-metre-tall stuffed camel? For more than a decade, shoppers at an Alexandria antique store have asked this question, craning their necks and staring up into the glassy eyes of Michelle, a balding, 50-year-old humped beast with a price tag of $13,000.

The answer, it turns out, is eastern suburbs private school Scots College.

The beloved mascot of Mitchell Road Antiques in Alexandria – a full-sized, taxidermy camel, adored by the community – has finally found a forever home, after it was purchased by the college to be placed inside its $60 million John Cunningham Student Centre."

Love the AI images.

A genuinely captivating weekend of footy coming up. Nic Ninths included.

Obviously it would be higher drama for the crowd if the Riverview 1s and 16s hadn't already won the comp, but there's still a massive opportunity for Joeys to remind everyone who the big dog in the room really is. I imagine that the Joeys firmament are more than relishing the opportunity to let a little air out of Jesuit balloons :D

And not always indicative, but given the 16s results next year might be a reasonably competitive year for Riverview as well. Interesting times!
