To be 12 nil up and lose has got to hurt.

Shore supporters got them home. Sounded like they were playing a GF.

Well done to Shore to get the win from a penalty goal on Fulltime.

Been a hard season as a Kings supporter.
Agree disappointed for the boys. Opportunity for Perret, Hilgendorf and Woodhouse to revisit their program.
Regardless of the Oakhill injection of fresh blood the program has been light on in good game management through the backs with limited kicking games, average field position and a high reliance in individual talent to create opportunities in the backs rather than good, structured, quick(emphasis added) backline play. Reply to heavily on their very good for pack to create the space for them.
Many will be back next year, hopefully a return to the route one directness of the forwards which was present at the beginning of the season. As the season progressed they applied more of an around the corner approach and gave it wider more often which, while entertaining, was not successful. More than half the team will be back which is promising. No real outstanding talent coming through but forwards will remain excellent. Coaches so in year 9 this year is potentially very good but will have a lot of pressure. Thomas O’R my dark horse for a breakout season.
Riverview this year showed how it was done. Hard work and excellent defence, repeat the excellent defence. Great 7 and 9 never hurts. Loved the forwards and had an outstanding winger.
Joeys formidable again with many backing up again next year. The production line continues across the grades but have just lacked the Jorgensen or Barrett of recent years to take them to the next level. Backs will be scary next year, can the forwards give them the platform?
Scots and New of a similar vein. Some absolute gems of individual talent but can’t quite bring it together cohesively as a team. Rate the New 10 and hope rugby can hold onto Lemoto (if he can keep his tackles down!)
Congrats to Shore today, a long season after the highs of last year. Have some rebuilding to do but sense there is a vibe in the program.

Well done Joeys, it wasn’t pretty but it worked. Riverview got out to 21-7 and then started playing like a team who had their won their grand final last week. Not a thing went their way in the 2nd half, but credit to Joeys for sticking in there and winning ugly. 1 game each this season is probably a fair representation. Joeys wanted the win more and the View boys are crying into their premiership trophies tonight. Bring on next year!

Hopefully the sweet taste of victory has you feeling alright tonight Joker. Another troublesome year for the rivalry coming up next year by all reports. Be well.
Thank you for your concern and thanks to everyone who have sent well wishes. My condition is one we are keeping in-family. There are members here who know me, but I am not at the stage of sharing with them. This past year I have gone backwards. I try to slow down but struggle. Thank you for those who showed patience as I struggled to drag a name out of my addled brain when chatting. I am going to go round again in 2026 but will keep my focus to whacking idiots with my hammer. That makes me feel good!

Riverview wins its 11th premiership

Fun fact Joeys won its 11th in 1932
What an irrelevant fact. Just a sour way to poo poo Views prem. My kids do this when one of the others achieve something.

Was a good game today. Joeys played well for 45 mins and View for 25 mins and points flowed with the momentum. Joeys came out of blocks in the 2nd half much better and owned the moment. Credit to them, they can be proud of a season finished off well.
Is ... anyone actually happy Riverview won?
Yeah heaps.

Congrats Shore. Never deserved to finish the year with a donut. Take a big shift at this stage to do that over there.

Kings… monumental fad away this year. Not surprise given the style of play. Very easy for teams to figure out in a 2 round comp.

Probably a Rough statement to make, No Risati and sawyer didn’t help their case in the back end of the term.

In fairness to those boys the only game they really lost in was View who are clear premiership winners otherwise every loss was a couple points or a conversion to win it after full time.
