Could they not allow 9 ?? I am sure the Sydney based teams could easily make that happen and keep TAS too
I am sure that the AAGPS have considered a 9 team 3rd XV competition and I agree with you @Here for the advice that it would be a great idea. Having Newington in the competition would allow ALL GPS schools to compete together. I understand that scheduling and byes have been the main issues. Others on the forum may have more information about this. (I can confirm that I am not on the AAGPS Committee.)

The most interesting aspect of this article is that all the NRL players listed attended either Scots, Newington or Kings. Why is so?

It's to early to tell however it's either going to be the boys from North Sydney or The Joe boys... Only time will tell...

Scots or View seem to be the clear favourites for the 3rd XV competition in my eyes, and if I'm not mistaken, view beat shore in a trial game and Scots have beaten joeys in a game earlier on this season. Who knows though hey?

Cheers,

So apparently it's Scots, View, Joeys or Shore. Good to know.

With the GPS1 and GPS2 teams not being announced until the 22nd, it does not give them much of a chance to train together. I know a lot of them will have undoubtedly played with each other in previous NSW sides etc, which is great however I thought that they may have been given possibly even a weeks more prep

When are the games at Knox?

Makes no sense to me either. He has been there since year 10 and has the experience. Not sure why they would drop him as he has been performing well also

Definitely controversial to be there in year 10 and then dropped in year 12. But I'm not convinced his performances have been up to scratch, especially defensively. Also questionable whether he should have been there in year 10.

Despite the fact he possibly should not have been there in year 10, he has mass amount of experience and deserves to be in the team, nonetheless it's not my decision.. and not our place to comment.

I would rate the decision if Wendt was there to come up but I'm not sure his replacement is well placed there.

Does anyone have a team list for the Scots 1s, 2s and 3s this weekend? Heard about a lot of reshuffling e.g Ontoni coming back so I am interested to see how this has spelled for these teams.
