Here for the advice

Peter Burge (5)
He hasn’t been producing or having the impact on the Wing that he was having at 13 last year. Breakwell played magnificent last weekend. Makes total sense. Either him or Francis had to go down. Francis has been finding the line more, so they had no other option.
Hang on Francis has been killing it all season. yes slight but has done what wingers should do score tries and not drop the ball when it comes their way. Others in the move have had mixed performances….. to move from 3 XV to 1 XV is great for that one boy and good to see the coaches realising they did not get it right in limited trials.

Change should not be feared….. but moving a winger to 12 did not work with their 2XV structure in the past and maybe won’t work with this change of moving a winger down to 12. there is plenty of pace in there 2 and 3’s wingers so I am calling the wrong move but let’s see….

Everyone wants your spot. Rest on your laurels and you'll be eaten alive at this level.

There are a few...
Not specifically wingers but:
Large (TSC)
Roberts-Lintmejier (NC)
Folkes (SIC)
Grantham (NC)

Cheers, howgood.
Hartman would have to come into the mix if including non-wingers, although he proved to be an excellent one last year.
Haven’t been enough dry tracks this year.

Gee. Bit of a shake up this week. Will be very interesting to see what happens especially with weather potentially playing a role.

Fastest wingers in the GPS….1sts and 2nds….?
Year 11 boy Digby Hockey on the right wing in the Shore 2s would have to be up there, although wouldn't beat the likes of Blair and Large. Crazy story how Hockey went from playing in the 13Ds and 15Cs, to playing in the 2nds and even earnt a start in the 1st XV vs Oakhill this year. They breed them tough out in Spring Ridge!
