Quick Hands

David Wilson (68)
36 - 24 Joeys FT
A game in which one could have almost written a script for. Joeys very efficient and effective in possession and executing the key skills of the game at speed with a minimum of errors and punishing opposition turnovers.
Newington defending doggedly for the first half, then letting in 3 quick tries after the break before finishing with a wet sail when the game was beyond reach.

Well done both teams on the effort in the conditions. Joeys well deserved winners.

Where's the beef

Herbert Moran (7)
Joeys destroyed New today. It was far more onesided than the scoreline suggested. It was 36-10 with 2 to go. Fowler well over the New 10, Greer had a blinder. Ben interesting to see where the selections go.

The President

Allen Oxlade (6)
Yeah if they turned just one of those close losses into a win and beat Joeys next term they could have won the premiership
Season definitely not over yet for Shore. Joeys, Shore, Newington and Kings all still contesting for the premiership. Can’t see Riverview making a push neither can I see Scots. Joeys the favourites right now but could go anyone’s way. Would be huge for Joeys to win the premiership this year considering they won the 1st 8 race and the Year 11 cohort at Joeys went undefeated through the age groups. Joeys seem to be on the up in the sporting front.

Tough week for margins.
Some have made up ground.
I am thinking of introducing a perfect round bonus. You get double for picking all three?
Thoughts welcome.
