Also, recommend the Gary Owen hotel near Leichardt Oval for your catch up drinks. Not bad and close enough to stumble there. Crawl if it's a 5pm game. Maybe that's the reason why View have moved it. Think about it.

Wyvernboy
Sounds like a plan! One day we may have a G&G meet up. I have met several people over the years and they are all good blokes, even the Scots ones!

Get them in before midnight tonight OR you are given the second team with a +12 spread.

Anonymity is golden and privacy is precious. I'm sure they are good blokes. Like getting under the Yellow and blue boy's skin. Pink and blue boys are ok.

Hey joker,
Can confirm kings 13-16Bs had all lost, I still haven’t been able to gain the score of these games but guessing it may of been a flogging. Will come back with scores once released.

Scots crowd was excellent, a true demonstration of culture. Old boys were on fire as well, not sure where the Newington crowd was, perhaps they thought it was a home game. Newington number 2,6 and 15 were standouts. Scots underperformed, however the 6 wasn't grubby at all not sure what game you were watching. Maybe you had a schooey to many on the balcony at Scots. Anyway good time, couple bad takes from old Wyervenboy, get of your high horse mate.
Resulting to dissing a schools crowd support because you lost a game ?? Always next year champ

Hello Propsarespeedy
Yes, its score that the Scots 14As should be proud of, but as we have is discussed, these success are fleeting. Puberty, the arrival of our Pacific Islander Intake, in the coming years, will most likely alternate the balance between the teams. But I hope your 14As, enjoyed their win
The 13As, score would be much appreciated. I could't find it as yet ins tram
13As Scots 5- 40 Newington
13B's Scots 10- 17 Newington
15A's Newington win by 2 15-17
15B's irrelevant due to glengarry
16A's 7-26 Newington, I don't believe this score is relevant either as Scots is missing Leo.J, Finnlay B, Zach F and Toby brial due to opens duties and others due to injuries.
16B's still unsure but Scots win.

Newington won… they were talking about the Scots crowd no sense made here dusk.
He decided to talk upon the fact that Newington had very little crowd and made the comment "may have thought it was a home game". Why do you think he made a comment like that, when its common knowledge that Newington are not forced nor really recommended to go to away games and/or Newington home games (unless there is house support day and BND)

For a povo ISA school Oakhill manages to do this easily every week. Sounds like all you need is someone to pull their finger out

Newingtons crowds at away games are very sub-par in comparison to every other schools crowds. Hell, even shore over the past 5-10 years (dark years of shore rugby) have always had solid turnouts, home or away. Says a bit about the culture within the schools.

Hi Stephenmoorebeers

Good stuff. Here we go.

Scots students were great. Solid numbers for a home game. Respectful when kickers lined up and cheered loud when their team was doing well.
Old boys were on fire. Usual noise from the balcony. Hope your head went down as the ball went over the posts. Having one field on campus ( real estate in BH is expensive even in 1893 ) leaves a few younger students out. Would have liked to see more however a core group of yr12, and 16's hung around. Hope you enjoyed the New's victory song. Agree New 2,6 and 15 were great and special mention to 14 for ignoring the Old Boys noise and kicking it for the win . Scots did underperform. Thought you relied on half your pack to make the hard yards. 6 was very good just niggly but New boys took it and he deserved his GPS 1sts selection.
As far as me on the balcony, I wouldn't know what a second story is mate. I wouldn't be welcomed up there and I wouldn't waste my time up there anyway. Glad to be amongst my own. That Scots "AIR" affects the Old Boys too much but I walked next to my horse all the way home. Very happy indeed !!!!
Till next time. Enjoy the rest of the season Stephenmoorebeers.

Wyvernboy
Should be a good season, whoever wins won't be undefeated. Still anyone's ball game.

Where are you Rippa ? Were you at the Scots game ? What are your thoughts about the game ? Must admit, firsts shaped up.

Wyvernboy
Rippa is hibernating. Do not poke the bear.

IMO #1 to #15 all played to their strengths and more importantly they played for each other and never gave up.

Wyvernboy, would you keep the same team for the clash at HH in 3 weeks???? I would.

I agree, but there is no need to say that when it had nothing to do with the result of the game. Simply a cheap shot (which is true but still...), However, at BND you should see a real crowd at Newington which I am looking forward too.
