Superb flick out the back of the hand on the right side by the OC for Joeys and in they go to take the choccies at the death....

All in all a good first head out for both teams. I thought Joey's were going to run away with it after about 15 minutes. Scots fitness seemed a bit better but Joey's forwards are monsters and Scots will need to find something when they next meet.

After watching the Joeys Scots game, from what i see, Scots was the much better side. Defensively quite strong missing very few tackles and when they had the ball, moved it very well across the field in all parts. Joeys defended strongly but you could tell their last 15 minutes weren't as fit and mobile as the Scots outfit. Will be interesting to see how both move forwards. Was Scots game for the last 10 minutes and a little lapse lost them the game, the good sides will do that to you but Scots IMHO were and are the better side moving forwards. Strong contenders if they keep that up to take return the premiership to Bellevue Hill this year.

That was when their 10 went off injured....broken arm maybe? He was a huge playmaker up until then

Even game and played in patches. Learned a few things and one was Scots have some big boys in the backs
Not much between them at times. Missed the noise

Full Time at Kings

Kings 32 def Newington 12

Well done to Kings on a tradesman like display of the fundamentals and proved too good. A view young Newington team have a steep learning curve ahead.

Kings had Australia's highest played ball boy running the kicking tee.;) Great school spirit.

Good to see the game clock up to its old tricks at hunters Hill . Clearly it was a trial because the (slang used by low IQ schoolboys)s did not go off

The clock at HH is a unique timepiece. At various times it seems to go quicker than a normal clock - often when the locals are defending a small lead, while on other occasions is seems to go slowly, stop or disappear - these seem to occur when the lads in cerise and blue are pounding the opposition line and chasing a famous come from behind victory.

An unknown Marist Brother operating the clock mechanism at HH ;)

It’s H

Watched the whole view game, view far too strong, probably could’ve piled on some more points with a bit more ball security, shore looked out muscled and out skilled.

Caught the second half of the Joeys scots game and from what I could tell, scots were unreal in attack, moving the ball from side to side with great effectiveness, however joeys matched Up in defence (as they always do) and only let the scots third try in after multitudes of phases.

Thoughts?

Hammer.
