Have a look on both sides who joined when ... I think you might find some " abnormalities and anomalies " from both Hunters Hill and Lane Cove .. unthinkable given the self ritgous diatribe they dealt out to others in the past from the inner city and the East ....
I have heard the same. A table showing the teams of each player in 2016 and 2015 would be interesting and legit for this thread. There might be lots of blanks.

I can confirm that with the exception of one front row player, all View players who played in the 1sts last week were there last year. So no idea where your comments are coming from.

You will need to go back one more year ........ both played 1sts last year look at players coming from Chatswood to Lane Cove and QLD to Hunters Hill neither player is in your team list but has played in almost every game this and last season ........ I also hear that a very talented young year 10 boy is off to Hunters Hill from the bottom of Bellevue Hill .......... I'm sure that's just an rumour or anomaly .......

Those from HH and Lane Cove never abided by that rule when they felt aggrieved on this thread ......... but I'll take my red card and move on .....

wow that sure is a young backline ... and some might think Jude Gibbs (also 15As,Cranners in 2016) might be vying for a spot

what I would say is that backline won't be scaring the Kings and Scots backlines

I have big wraps on the likes of Poolman and Minogue from Kings and Savala, Smith and Yasmin :)mad:) from $cots

so IMHO Joeys needs T Reilly back, and maybe Quinn back into the centres

the Waverley backs that did most of the damage to Joeys were all year 12 ... Bell, Donaldson, Hardaker & Wallace

Hopefully we'll be seeing Triston Reilly and Tom Eveleigh back next term for the comp games. They both provide a solid/ hard-hitting centre combo for Joeys that works well with the agile outside backs.

Will definitely be interesting to see how they go against Kings.

While its early in the week, time to look at the only GPS rugby competition presently in town! Yes, I am enjoying this!

So with one round down, High, SJ and TAS are equal first on two points, then Scots and Kings have one point, with Grammar, View and Shore yet to open their account. Its been a while since one could report High as a GPS comp leader. Yes, I am indeed enjoying this!

Next weekend could well determine the outcome of the Thirds comp. Each match is interesting.

TAS won against Iggies, but at 15-10 not by much. Now High faces Iggies. High's 24-12 win over Shore must have given the whole team a boost after the preseason, but will it be enough? I have no idea, but I think Iggies will still run out favourite.

Joeys comes up against Kings. Joeys unexpectedly narrow 19-10 win over Grammar must have come as a shock to Joeys after the preseason. Kings drew with Scots last week and looks an okay side. Kings will need to weather the expected initial Joeys onslaught to win. On the preseasons Joeys would still be favoured.

Grammar plays Shore. Grammar's form has reportedly been a bit patchy marked by slow starts. Still, after their performance against Joeys, they must be favoured

TAS v Scots? I don't know. I can't call it. Both teams were early favourites after Joeys, but TAS's limited preseasons makes me cautious. We will see.

Wow, clearly this is a sensitive topic in this forum which I wasn't aware of. Some facts to go along with the comment would be great. Facts on which team each first xv member played with in 2015 for all gps schools. We should be able to talk about the history of players separate from the issue of sports inducements.

Hi there (mostly) gents,

I work for an international rugby app based in South Africa and we're keen to cover some Aussie schoolboy rugby. What would you say are the 5 top competitions/leagues to follow?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Latest is that Reilly should be back for Rd. 1 but that Everleigh is just a chance for Rd.2 after the break.

But the reserve centres have been handy, just quietly.

A typically astute post SDW.
Gibbs deserves a look as said 10 has a tendency to make his first move across field, which will be gobbled up by a good defensive backline. The tendency might be addressed by the older 12 and 13 coming back from injury based only on what I have heard of their class.
