Stars look a little bit stronger than they were for the massacre at Leichhardt oval earlier this year, BCity have lost Higgers but gained LF Gill. This will get ugly. Hope the Scoreboard Attendant is fit. They may be busy, very busy.

Unless the Hoff is replaced by Craig Joubert at short notice, the Twinklers play with the passion, focus and energy that the Single Malts did on the weekend, and City suddenly decide to be sloppy and inaccurate in their execution, then City will romp home by as many points as you can think of.

The biggest question may very well be how many meat pies will the newly crowned Prince of Ballymore get.

Go Brisbane City!
Their winning streak must be closing in on some records for rugby union in this country

How can a ref keep his job after that?

To me, he was calling "Advantage Over" as the knock-on occurred. So I'm cool with it. There actually isn't a ruling on when advantage expires except in the opinion of the referee.

The bigger question is: how can Gill continue to keep his job as captain after that level of utter disrespect?

Brisbane City need to stop thinking they're the shit, and start working harder.

If you say advantage over, advantage over.

No, actually, it isn't. That isn't written anywhere in the Law on Advantage. Go read it if you want.

The referee is the sole arbiter of advantage. Just like reversing a penalty or try after seeing it on the big screen.

In this case, it didn't actually change anything - the guy dropped it, they were 10 metres behind where they were the previous phase. Had he caught the ball he might have made some yards and set up another score.

What I don't understand, is that the City forwards should be smacking two rucks straight ahead, then ball go wide to score. Bang-bang-try.
