Heading over with couple of mates and our kids tomorrow for the game. Would love the RAMS to get up but pretty tough opposition. Pretty happy with Walton finally starting at 10 and pushing Asquith to 12. Wish they did it earlier but ah well.

They certainly have made great effort with all the PI games lead up games etc and PI flavour.

The experts are back on at Concord. Delightful day, slight cloud cover and a gentle breeze. Cuzzy bros EVERYWHERE. Plenty of supporters decked out in Fiji/Samoan/Tongan gear with a bit of black here and there.

Coupla silly penalties from the locals, Eagles push play back up to the Rams 10m line, win scrum put-in. Wind stiffening, handling difficult.

Delightful kick from inside the Rams half, lucky bounce and a ball flung back in, caught and scored. Rams 6 Eagles 0, 9mins gone.

Rams press up to the Eagles 22m with good handling and backing up, then give up a penalty! Rams win lineout on halfway. Forward pass, scrum about 35m out.

Quick scrum strike, a nice break from Godwin followed up by a dinky kick, lucky bounce into Robinson's arms, try about 5m in from the side. Too windy to convert. 6-6, 18mins gone.

Rams putting on some lovely continuity with excellent backing-up. About 12 phases, took the ball 35m up the paddock. Cheating Eagles give away a cynical penalty 5m out. Rams take scrum, shunt Eagles, pushover try. 8m to the left of the posts, converted. 14-6, 23mins.

Rams win penalty, good kick up to the Eagles 22m, win lineout in windy conditions and maul the ball over the line. 20-6, 28mins.

Eagles very disjointed, their quality players look to be cruising. Knock on 30m out from Rams line. Rams win scrum, take play well back into Eagles half.

Just as I post that Kellaway runs the ball back and after some excellent interplay with Robinson the Eagles prop scores under the posts. 20-14, 32mins.

Rams somehow get the ball back after kicking off, attack the Eagles line, win penalty 5m out. Take lineout, maul the ball over the line. 26-28 after 8mins. FAR too many front rowers tries.
