@RugbyReg says (http://www.greenandgoldrugby.com/nrc-2015-round-4-preview/):
The value of the Horan-Little Shield is there on show this Thursday night as the Rays are in with a chance to steal the Shield away from current holders, Brisbane City. It will be a challenge in the true sense of the word, however, as while Brisbane have the freedom to rest some key players after their short turnaround from a Sunday game in Toowoomba, the Rays have team changes for less positive reasons.
It’s a nature of the professional game, and perhaps the RWC window, that key players Ed Gower, Sam Ward and Mark Johnson have all just taken up opportunities overseas. It’s a blow for the Rays but, as is the theme of this tournament, it provides an opportunity for another group of players to strut their stuff.
Key Match ups:
The NRC has a reputation for being a free-spirited running extravaganza of tries, but the battles at scrum time can’t be overlooked. Sam Talakai for Brisbane has been one of the stand out players for his team, providing an attacking anchor at the set piece, whilst being highly involved across the park. To combat him. the Rams have promoted 21 year old Rory O’Connor into the starting line-up for the first time this season and he deserves his start after some impressive impacts from the bench.
Meanwhile, City have given the chance to Henry Taefu in the centres and the highly regarded Sunnybank player should have an epic battle with his opposite number in Tom Hill. Both are highly physical centres, with Taefu (a Ray last year) also possessing a handy offload whilst Hill has been close to his side’s best so far this season.

Rays changes from Round 3
Rory O’CONNOR gets his first start for the NRC this year with Mitch LEWIS dropping back to the bench.
Alex HOLMES from Bond University in the QPR competition has been added to the squad to bolster the THP ranks.
Harry BERGELIN has been promoted to a starting slot after a cracking performance off the bench against the Rising, and following the overseas departure of Sam WARD to a contract in Italy.
Jack DEMPSEY moves from BSF to #8.
Ryan MELROSE comes into the squad for the first time this season for Mark JOHNSON who is heading back to South Africa.
Harry RORKE has been promoted from the bench, in a straight swap with Cameron TRELOAR.
Sam LANE has recovered and takes a spot on the bench.
Ruairidh WILSON has also been brought into the squad as cover for the recent overseas departures of Sam WARD, Ed GOWER, and Mark JOHNSON. He will make his NRC debut if he gets time off the pine.

Brisbane City changes from Round 3
Matt MAFI is promoted from the bench to start his first game, with Andrew REEDY rested/injured.
Ryan FREENEY comes onto the bench as Front Row cover.
Waita SETU is promoted from the bench in a straight swap with Luke BEAUCHAMP at BSF.
Mika TELA will make his run on debut on the wing for Alex GIBBON who is injured/rested.
Henry TAEFU is promoted from the bench to start, as part of a backline reshuffle that sees "Prince" LALOIFI on the bench and Karmichael HUNT starting at 15.

See how good the NRC is, here is a kiwi that can follow the Brisbane team with no reservations as they don't play any kiwi teams!!

It's a fine day here in Brisbane. What are our predictions for the match?

A few new starters in for this game should be a little scrappy at the start. Players to keep an eye out for?

Looking forward to seeing the Brisbane Centre combo combine. Taefu and Kerevi. Taefu loves an off-load, and it puts Samu a little further away from Tom Hill and more on Pili-Gaitau, which he should enjoy.

And the Rays scrum isn't going to get any respite with Mafi starting at hooker. Massive unity. Young Rory O'Connor will be under the pump against Talakai.

yep. Stiles wanted him at City last year (he plays for Sunnybank up here) but he had already agreed to the Rams.

I tried to get around the geo-blocking to watch via Foxtel Go, but internet speeds and lag are killing it.

Brisbane City currently lead 26-13. #13 for the NHR Pili-Gaitau has copped his 2nd yellow card in the 2nd half, coloured red. 24 mins to go, plenty of good performances. Alex Northam for the Rays has shown his slick wheels given an inch of space.

Prince gets meat by lurking on the shoulder of Caderyn Neville.

The Prince is now on 5 tries for the series.

Jake Mack leaves the field after converting the try. BrisVegas is 47. Rays are 29. 74 minutes gone.

LF Gill will be back from Naughty Boys chair soon.

Youngster Moses Sorevi to halfback. That's his NRC debut. Frisby to 10 for McIntyre.
