First game for the Rising. W/L currently 2-zip to the Rising.

Rising were good in patches last week, but handling and execution let them down. Country was soundly beaten by the Vikings.

I expect a tighter performance from the Rising this weekend. Zane would have worked on execution, and with a few Rebel players available they should get the win. rising by 10.

A Home game means top-notch BBQ food. Can someone give me a foot report; I can't make it this weekend, on account of my dodgy leg.

Go Rising.

Would like more info on the whereabouts of Colby, Siliva, Dom and Maddocks, but I still don't mind the team at all.

Need Jack to hit the line and pass backwards, and it should be a win if the forwards front up.

Happy with the consistency in selection, but I wonder where our Wallaby ambassadors are. I noted Alan A was picked at THP, so I guess wobs are allowled to play this weekend?

Totally agree on JD - big game from him is required.

Jacks looks like this: the second coming of Joe Roff.

So the mystery of the missing Wallabies has been solved.

Farmer Tobes, Chibba and Lopeti are in the run-on side. Alex Tooles, who I thought did a good job last weekend, is also in the starting 15. Considering that QC (Quade Cooper) are playing their Wallabies, this change is unsurprising. Still no news on Sean or Reece. *snip*

Guessing that Reece is likely to start against the Saffas.

I heard that Sean was unavailable for Bled 1 with a busted nose. You wouldn't think that would keep him out for three weeks though.

That's so weird to name two teams

I think they've named a non Wallaby player team, then saw that other teams were naming Wallaby players, then revised their team to include Wallaby players. The first one was name fairly early in the day IIRC.

Bip played 10 at Box Hill a couple of times, when JD was subbed for the Rising a couple of times last year, and ran at 10 in preseason when he was the third string scrummie.

Looks like a very promising No 15 to me.

Going upvagainst Sefa will be a good test for Perese. I'm looking forward to it.
