I am at a loss to understand what went wrong - MP (Moana Pasifika) upped the ante for sure, the odd missed tackle here and there for Waratahs - but wow.

The coach has some explaining to do. This is a catastrophe that starts with his tactics.

the referee completely changed the momentum of the game with some very very poor decisions and lets forward passes and offside steals in the ruck go unpenalised

What the fuck are you talking about? We lost basically every set piece in the entire half. People slipping over, dropping balls, missing simple tackles.

the worst though is the complete unwillingness to secure our own ball. Fat, lazy fluffybunnys.

Moana were very slow to start and the tahs made the most of some of their early errors, so it was mostly in their hands to reverse it. Beyond that the tahs just don't have much in the pack, particularly once Bell's off and they go to the bench. It's partially a player ability issue, but it's mostly due to a largely new team slapped together - no one is quite sure where they're supposed to be or what they're supposed to be doing, so everything happens a bit slower and soft shoulders open up.

Same excuse every year. Been on a rebuild since 2015.

JOS can't be picked for wallabies. For anything he does well he does 2 equal things as bad. Terrible performance from the tags. Especially in the last 20.

Oh absolutely, half way through last year they basically gave up on the previous one and went all in on getting the Rebels players. Might have worked better if they had a stable coaching team but to change all that over at the same time is nuts. Will be interesting to see how many of the one year players they can hang onto, because they could easily lose half the pack all over again (2 of the longer term members are already gone).

So seeing as MP (Moana Pasifika) are essentially based in Auckland and don’t play in Tonga or Samoa, what part of their team is Pacifika? Every other NZ team has the same make up of Pacifika players so what’s the point? Why didn’t they just call it the Kiwi seconds team?

Such a dumb move. They were fat and lazy in Melbourne too - that's why the Rebels sucked.

All the actual good Melbourne talent got picked up by teams not run by retards.
