Dan, I'm still claiming it is lack of aerobic fitness to play 80 mins of rugby. The same thing with the Reds last qtr but a great game anyway and I think the fittest of the Aus Super Rugby teams.
Yep makes an awful lot of sense. Running out of gas usually followed by not keeping up best decisions in defence etc.
On someone out of gas, did Stan show the interview with Ardie after the game, I think he as usual left every single bit of whatever on field. Looked redy to collapse!

So frustrating, we looked quite functional at times and then we lose shape and the efforts fail

It isn't surprising to see a lack of cohesion in the centres and the subsequent connection with the halves, we just drop in a new two and hope for the best

I just watched the 2nd half, Doleman truly has absolutely no idea of the rules around the ruck. It’s actually impressive to be that inept. The commentators actually praised his officiating! I don’t blame nella giving him a mouthful.

That quote re Ardie might point to a weakness, we also need to leave everything out there if we are going to win the Super Rugby final (assuming we get there). Maybe using Ardie as an example may be a game too far, but the idea holds.

Is there any value in staggering the centre replacements, allowing a bit of overlap to get a feel for the game? They are so critical to D in a game.
