Even now the Blues play the Tahs, I am supporting the Blues.
I hope and pray that your brave stance causes stupid @Derpus to have an embolism in his nutsack.

I'll leave that to the KC'sIt is not.

It's an interesting outcome here. If the legal argument is solid, that brings the Tax bill back down to a manageable level, the bulk of the remaining creditors then either directly or indirectly (e.g. MOPT via Vic Government) have a vested interest in seeing MRRU continue to operate.
On the flip side, it almost certainly buggers RA the fuck up.
The PAC boys dipping their toes into the politics (especially 'sticking up for the suits') seems a bit.... off brand for themPig Athletic Club have released an interview today on their podcast with Baden and Stiles which they did a few months ago, pre the collapse. The narrative around releasing it seems to be 'get around the boys and don't believe the media'.
Is that how Rebels fans feel? Seems an odd thing to release but I am not emotionally involved with what is going on so maybe it's not a big deal.
Same in WA.It is funny, there is often talk in the media how there is generally more interest in Aussie derbies (crowds and TV audience). That has never been the case in Melbourne we have usually had better crowds for matches v NZ because a lot of the Kiwis living in Melbourne want to come and watch the NZ teams but not necessarily the other Aussie teams.
MRRU or the formers directors thereof?Apparently Rebels are about to go to war with RA.... positive times ahead.
I think for now they’re still pretty linked but the former directorsMRRU or the formers directors thereof?
Melbourne Rebels directors have overcome opposition from Rugby Australia to win more time from a court as they attempt to save the debt-ridden Super Rugby club.
Federal Court Judge Catherine Button granted a 60-day extension on Thursday that will now allow the Rebels board to propose an alternative arrangement to creditors, in an attempt to avoid liquidation.
Rugby Australia had opposed the bid in a creditors’ meeting on Monday and was instead pushing for the club to be liquidated.
This is the worst possible path for Australian Rugby.
