I don't understand why this is such a problem for the Wallabies. There are lots of class and consistent kickers in other national rugby teams and that NRL is littered with great place kickers. Why do the Wallabies suffer?

I suspect changing kickers will only dent his ego even further. It might just be a case of sorting himself out in terms of regaining confidence.
How many test matches do you want to lose before then, though? and would you trust him with the pressure of a WC?
Even if he gets sorted out before then it's just waiting for another bad match to start it all over again.

Time for a break. A stint in Europe might do wonders for his game. But unless he starts drooling on the ball instead of playing rugby with it, I can't see the selectors dropping him. Too scared.

They must be too scared to win.

Maybe they are now too scarred?

Some League guys have good success rates, no doubt Reddy, but seldom kick from more than about 35m (conversions, allowing for angle). Bit limiting in a rugby match where the ability to kick up to 50m (or even more) is required.

maybe its the stadium? he had trouble at ANZ V Eng and V the Tahs this year. Dan Halangahu out-kicked him.

Kafe and Austin take the time to analyse Git's kicks, looking at the vid of each kick, and Richard Graham says: "No fucking idea mate. Search me digger, I'm stumped."

What a complete muppet.

Kafe spoke about his technique and said he leans back just before contact and this hooks the ball plus reduces his power. Sure enough when Giteau misses 90% of the time he hooks it.

Kafe for Wallabies Skills Coach.

Just watched a 15 minute show on Giteau at Toulon. I had forgotten that his wife is Buddy Franklin's sister. They had a kid, Levi, born whilst theyre in France. Giteaus genes mixed with Franklins! God I hope Levi plays rugby!!
