I believe that is 4 winning games in a row now for the Reds...did we manage to do that in 2010? I can't remember. But it feels unfamiliar haha. I suspect if we win next week there will be some kind of hoodoo broken.

Stormers isn't it? Should be aiming to not lose by more than 20. :)

Don't think we will beat the Stormers next week but I am hopeful that the ref will insist on players rolling away.

Wasn't a particularly good game to watch. It was a game the Reds would've lost in the past so them stepping up for a win is good, but missing the bonus point is disappointing.

On the whole I find games at altitude where 60 metre kicks are the norm very frustrating as it is so easy to clear the ball and hard to maintain attacking pressure agains an opponent happy to kick the crap out of the ball and the fact that this is one huge sentence pays tribute to how tires I really am right now.

Stormers have good defence and okay attack; Reds have good attack and above average defence. This game is shaping up to be a cracker.

14 - 7 penalty count in favour of the Lions. Absolute shocker by Munro. Poor positioning and got the "sequence' at the breakdown wrong so often it wasn't funny.

Munro's only saving grace IMO is that Kaplan was so much worse in the Sharks - Stormers game.

I've been trying to watch all 3 FS channels. Man U just came from 2-0 down in the 2nd half to win 4-2. Awesome stuff

Bugger...so that would have been against West Ham, eh?

Was out refereeing a game in north east Scotland this afternoon, being an Aussie, I was gobsmacked when the home captain asked me to change the half time break from previously agreed 5min to ten mins due it being so sunny for once and needing more time to cool down, even though the temp was like ten degs! Methinks:'What....'

Quade was awesome he carved up at will, Diggers only really fired up after he gave that try away. Morahan is very solid & reliable as well as being a very good finisher.

Don't know why Chambers is still missing as Tapuai has done nothing & Radke Samo was terrible when he came on for the forwards.

Horwill & Higginbotham were the pick of the forwards & Hanson must be putting pressure on Fainga'a for a starting spot.

Morahan was top notch, has that wingers knack to keep the ball in and sniff his way to the try line. Ioane was everywhere, a good first up showing in the 13 jersey. Halves were excellent as usual, Harris didn't show much in attack but happy to give him another go.

In regard to Munro last night, why is it that when an Aussie scrum clearly has dominance that a 50/50 call still goes against us?

Everytime the Wallabies or an aussie super rugby side is having problems you can guarantee we'll be penalised when the scrum collapses yet last night we smashed them off the ball with a seven man scrum & had them rattled when Holmes & Slipper where on yet we still got pinged.

Was impressed with the Reds last night. They have so many leaders, and people who can step up and control the game when the chips are down. Cooper and Genia were fantastic in breaking down a good Lions defence, while guys like Diggers, Horwill, Fainga'a provided the go-forward and the spark. Morahan and Davies were also good. I wish the Waratahs could close out a game like the Reds did in the last 20.

Almost cost us the Ioane try. Genia was trying to grab the ball from the break down and move it quickly right while Samo wanted to pick it and drive over the line with about 10 defenders in front of him.

Fainga'a puts so much pressure on the opposition at the break down. He is an extra pilferer.

Harris didn't show much in attack but happy to give him another go.

While his kicking points was superb, I felt he was a little lost at 15. What worries me was that the lions were clearly targeting the backs from the massive up and unders, and I felt harris was far from assured at fielding those kicks. it's a major flaw link has to address before the stormers or we're toast. Genia had to drop back to cover for those catches, which he did admirably. we need safe hands at 15, thought harris would do the trick, but he didnt settle and we copped a lot as a result of the loss of confidence and fluidity therefrom.
