I see no reason not to reuse the rough backline we played to beat Wales in the 3rd place playoff, and then again in Cardiff:

I reckon you play that on Saturday. For Scotland I would play the same backline, except maybe bring in Harris for Barnes.

Minus MCCabe.. Beale, but he is gone for now ....That would have won us the World cup, but Deans and folks above him wont go for that as there is not Enough NSW in there....

I would love to see more Barnes Genia Cooper combo. Pretty Solid on Attacking options and All of them can Tackle beside Cooper,

to be honest, think about all the 10's we have as options at the moment -Cooper is by far the most experienced. In my opinion if he says he can do it, even for 60 minutes - throw him in here

Hasn't Harris dropped off to around 77% or something? Might be wrong but from memory that's what Foxsports were displaying on the weekend.

I think this is one of those cases where stats don't tell the whole story. Harris on a run of 18 straight, then goes down with a hammy injury, comes back & looks woeful kicking. Finally gets confidence back in said hammy & is now on another roll of 14 straight.

With White and Barnes on the bench if its a 5/2, and if its not I'd add a winger to the bench.

Centres will be the problem with no real standouts.

Harris is not a super rugby level 10, let alone a test standard 10.

With thinning no. 10 stocks, I think Cooper should be called up against Wales. I would rather see Barnes outside of him at No. 12, certainly not McCabe. During the world cup QC (Quade Cooper) seemed to play much more confidently the couple of times he had Barnes outside. I think it was because with two play-makers, when he was under pressure with bad ball, he could just pass it one further out to Barnes instead of trying to create something out of nothing every time, which is what he seemed to be doing for the rest of the world cup. I don't know if it was because he didn't have faith in McCabe running outside of him, or if they just didn't gel. But for what-ever reason QC (Quade Cooper) and McCabe just didn't work well as a 10/12 pairing during the WC. I also think McCabe is much more of a natural 13, hitting the line hard.

Plus ...McCabe, Barnes Genia Cooper combo... Pretty Solid on Attacking options and All of them can Tackle besides Cooper

I'm not really 100% sure who i'd want as 14/15. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in one of those positions. I've put him at 14 and Harris at 15 since that gives us a good goal kicking option. I've not seen enough of Tomane play, how good is he at catch and kick? I agree, with Digby on the one wing, it is important to have a good 2nd fullback on the opposite wing capable of clearing when necessary.

Foley, Mogg and Morahan are other possibilities for 15, but I think Mogg and Foley are too green to be thrown in at against Wales, although maybe Foley off the bench. Morahan has been in excellent form in past few weeks for the reds, but I don't think he is an international player. Maybe against Scotland but not against Wales.

"Beale could play for the Wallabies against Wales"​

Wallabies and Rebels back Kurtley Beale could make an early return to playing rugby as his injury is not as bad as first thought.​

Wallaby coach Robbie Deans said on Monday that he expected fullback Beale to have surgery to clean out floating cartilage from his left shoulder joint.​

Some reports said that Beale had already had surgery but a Wallabies spokesman now says that Beale no longer requires surgery and could join the Wallabies squad next week to continue his injury rehabilitation.​

The Rebels play the Brumbies this week at home in Melbourne so as Beale appears to be eligible to play the Wallabies after their match against Scotland on Tuesday he is only likely to miss one Super Rugby match.​

The Wallabies play Scotland next week on Tuesday and then have a three match Test series against Wales.​

The Rebels first match after the June Internationals is against the Reds in Melbourne on June the 29th.​

Apparently, Beale still a chance for some of the game V Wales, great news if it proves true...​

My thoughts exactly - as a rugby fan and someone who has struggled with alcohol problems myself, I took no joy in seeing Kurtley slip at the end there. Wonderful Test match and best of luck to the Wallabies in the Second Test - I hope the stretcher won't be required and we can all just focus on the rugby.
