I think it's entirely appropriate for the RC to address the story. It's the biggest story right now in OZ rugby, especially with no test this weekend.

What is written on this forum is really of little consequence (no matter how outrageous or implausible it might be) in my view.

There is an International Rugby 7's tournament being held this weekend on the Goldie.

Hopefully someone turns up this year to watch it.

I'm actually going. Don't know if I'll be able to concentrate with Beale-gate running rampant in my subconscious.

I can't imagine how Ewen or the player's can perform under this sort of pressure. No wonder the Argies beat us.

Bought my tickets today :)

Speaking of which, Bill Pulver will be in town for that, and was supposed to be turning up for our Junior Presentation day on Saturday. I wonder if he'll show now ?

So will Cheiks be installed as Wallabies coach for the spring tour or will the ARU allow him to coach the Tahs in 2015 before taking the reins?

On Topic: fuck rugby. Fuck it to hell.

You know things are bad when Pfitzy is driven to say this.

Any more room in New Zealand for someone who loves rugby but hates the ARU?

Worse places to live than NZ, having a great rugby team is a bonus. Not sure I would get around to wearing an ABs jersey. Though I reckon I do look better in black than gold/mustard/canary yellow etc. :D

Beale's fucked either way as they said on rugby hq, and I'm not going to try to predict the eventual fallout, but it does smell a bit and I'm getting the feeling that Beale, because he is clearly in the wrong, is being used to divert attention from the wider issues.

What did Lee Harvey Oswald say? 'I'm just a patsy'!

I should clarify: except the Rams!

Fuck everyone in rugby - right in the face - except the Rams. I will at least garner some joy out of watching them smash the everloving shit out of the Mexican Viagra this weekend.

I've had an hour to reconsider, and actually, fuck moving to NZ. It IS a nice place, but I'd have to cop shit from AB supporters every fucking day. No matter how much I pretended not to give a shit about rugby, it would burn.

If Cheika was the new coach it would only complicate things with Beale given his love for him.

Yeah, it could. But with Cheika as coach, it's less likely it would have festered into the heaving mass of puss it has become today. Alternatively, KB (Kurtley Beale) may have pulled his head in knowing Cheiks would take that crap.

I hear where you're coming from. It's not the rugby per se, but the shambolic shenanigans going on in the upper echelons of the ivory towers.

How are you supposed to explain all this to the younger fans?

Even league fans - whose icons splash their bodily fluids around like Pro Hart when presented with a new rug - would be chuckling at rugby again.

Because Link was known for his tolerance of shit at the Reds?

Fuck I'm sick of all this chat from wallabies supporters, where not being part of the wallabies helps your reputation by not being there to fuck up.
