But then those players who are brought in to play 'lesser opposition' won't be getting as much game time as those starting against the top tier nations, therefore they are not exactly in a more advantageous position to earn more points.
In the end every single player that was in the mix for the award deserved to be there so there is nothing wrong with this system, and Beale won it with some stellar performances against some top ranking teams.
We all know you don't rate Beale but you're clutching at excuses as to why he didn't deserve this.

Beale was the best player on last year's NH tour. He deserved the award, and likely would still have won it under my system. I love to watch him play, but don't think he has been all that great in the 3N this year. The only time I have ever suggested he be put on the bench was to accommodate our No. 1 kicker and Mitchell back in the side.
Groucho started this slander with something like 'Scotty has over numerous threads over a long period of time proven he doesn't like Beale'. I challenged him to either find evidence of that or no longer lie about what I have said. Since he has no longer made these false assertions, I assume he has found no evidence of the fact.
I challenge you to also find evidence of anything more than a recent couple of criticisms I've made.
