My contacts tell me the following, straight from the horses mouth, confirmed unofficially and completely above board, except not really:

1) Beale's deal includes a provision to return to the Tahs every few weeks for "family reasons" or whenever Hickey asks Macqueen nicely.

2) JOC (James O'Connor) will be moving to the Seychelles for tax reasons and will "phone-in" or Skype his match day role.

3) All currently contracted ARU players will now be put into a common pool, and each coach will arm-wrestle his peers in a round robin tournament to pick teams each week.

4) Coincidentally, FoxSports have announced that the arm-wrestle tournament will now be televised each week after the Rugby Club. JP will host with special comments by the soon to be announced TahMan side-kick.

5) Grumbles Growden has been heavily backed to win the side-kick position. Contrary to reports, Eddie Jones was never in the running.

We had both hookers Stephen Moore and Huia Edmonds out injured remember. I'm sure sitting in that private box with some strippers just sounded more appealing to them rather than suiting up on the sidelines.
