I dont think JOC (James O'Connor) could ever be the first player picked. I think the flyhalf should be picked first in the backline and then the rest (and I dont consider JOC (James O'Connor) an option at 10). So I agree with Swat's post. It is entirely dependant on who else is in the team. For myself he has 2 options; wing or 12. If Barnes is at 10. then my first pick for JOC (James O'Connor) is at 12. If Cooper is at 10 then my first pick JOC (James O'Connor) is wing with a direct/hard running 12.

For this RC id be putting him on the wing as would not like to trial him at 12 vs the ABs or SA. Maybe verse Argentina first.
simple, don't vote in the poll then

Maybe next time, if you wanted your poll to have value, add in more details. For example:

Poll:
JOC (James O'Connor)'s best position for the wallabies in the long-term. - I bet more people would vote 12.
Where do you see JOC (James O'Connor) playing for the wallabies this Rugby Championship - I bet more people would vote wing.
simple.

Please this is an online forum so don't read into the semantics of the question to much, there are obviously 1000 variables so the poll was never going to be clearly accurate..
I thought my very first post(see below) was enough of a disclaimer not to take the poll too seriously...

This poll will also double as a selection policy for Robbie Deans, so select wisely..

Beale at 10, OConnor at 15.

Mitchell and Ioane on the wings.

McCabe and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in the centres.

Cooper can come back in when he learns how to tackle.

OConnor has the counter attack, kicking game and defence to make it at 15. He has also become a lot more dependant under the high ball in the last few years.
