Charger, it certainly appears that he is dancing with the devil.
No doubt this decision will define his time with the Brumbies.
I am hoping it works, no one wins out of the Brumbies being a basket case.

Agreed, I had hoped Whites appointment would be the catalyst for change, but it is increasingly worryingly looking like plastering over the cracks.

The only problem with this statement, is many people don't view the Brumbies culture as "excellent". Successful, yes, excellent culture?
Having the best players doesn't mean you win (see NSW Super Rugby history) so the culture was probably excellent during those years of winning.

You are kidding if you think Mr White is not going to have full control. Why would a coach with a reputation come to the Brumbies if he was a chance to be kicked? Fagan will also know that if the ship isn't righted he will be going down, he as much as anyone needs a saviour. How many coaches get a 4 year gig?

The player power people talk about being out of control is not existent in it's original design, that is why it appears not to be working. It also requires management, which obviously has also been lacking.

George is not fulltime, but keen to help the Brumbies find their way.

How many clubs in world rugby clubs would be lucky enough to call upen 2 RWC winning past club players and a heineken cup winner to be specialist coaches... not bloody many... they deserve a shot and our support... good luck to them all for 2012...it will make australian rugby stronger... Jake White, Bernie Larkham, mountain man Laurie Fisher and GG espresso scrumhalf Gregan... All champions and masters of their game... through in Eddie Jones to fire them up...
