You know what's bizarre? This forum is totally dominated by adult males (I presume?) It's SCHOOLBOY rugby guys. Keep everything in perspective.
Agree with this. Pedru's last post has left me absolutely dumbfounded

any thoughts on canberra grammar vs st augustines waratah shield match that's coming up in a short while?
Auggies by 50+. The difference between teams like Auggies and the ACT teams is huge. Eddies, Marist, Grammar who ever, it wouldnt matter they would all get pumped. None of them offer 'incentives' or try to lure a team of polynesians any more. They all just play with the cattle they have got. They are less competitve against the Sydney schools but it has leveled out the playing field in the ACT and the comp is very even.
On a side note, watched St Gregs play Joeys 3rds this arvo. Gregs had five or six out and only went down by a few tries. Expect them to cause some headaches this year for more fancied opposition. Wont win the comp or anything but will give plenty of headaches as mentioned.
Don't think they are even in it...if you know what I mean.Where's Daramlan in the pecking order?
Hey Crofty, I wouldn't be so hasty dismissing what this guy is saying -- I am sure SONY would be interested in developing a PC game based on his idea.......This Pedro dude is clearly on some pretty wacky gear. I thought the ISA thread was largely engaged in some decent debate and commentary until this bloke lobbed in and started ranting on about SA and NZ schools??? - hope we can get back to discussing the ISA comp as we are only a week away from getting into the "real deal" games.
Hey Pedro, don't disagree with your final para but not too sure about your first (couldn't quite distinguish the point you were trying to make).Crofty, I am sure you believe, all GPS teams will prove selectors wrong by playing and loosing to Auggies, and plead for selectors to rightfully award most N.S.W. and Australian jerseys to ISA players. No need to exhibit Aggies, Oakhill and St Pats beating/competing against top NZ teams, who will play ISA teams, as NZ teams can't loose a N.S.W jersey.
Does anyone deny, ISA getting their deserved share of N.S.W. and Australian jerseys, will develop ISA further and all ISA players will benefit with the skills/experience base filtering down all our school's ranks.
Hey Crofty, if we don't put these players up against top rugby union teams this is what is already happening, less of them get NSW jerseys and they go off playing close to the top level league on Sunday anyway. Is Natoli on a league contract yet ? If he is he would have to go off to their development days and Auggies would be well aware, and then he should not be in their 1st XV let alone rep. When Auggies start playing top NZ teams, they will get NZ TV coverage and more exposure to union developers.Hey Pedro, don't disagree with your final para but not too sure about your first (couldn't quite distinguish the point you were trying to make).
With Pappa coaching NSW and Auggies performing so well their is a pretty fair chance a few of the ISA lads will make the NSW sides.
A question for the thread: I noticed Natoli (Auggies #9) playing Toyota Cup today for the Sea Eagles against the Chooks. Would appear to be a pretty clear indication of where he sees his future. Should this preclude him from representative rugby honours this season?
Hey Watch, Sydney Boys High is an academically selective school, they leave Friday morning 1st June bus to Armidale to play rugby against The Armidale School and return to Sydney Sunday afternoon. They too, are a school team with a good proportion of them sitting the HSC this year, with priorities besides Rugby.Yeah I agree with ILMF, let's put it in perspective, we are talking about a School team. A good proportion of them are sitting the HSC this year, so they have other priorities besides Rugby.
they are not the Harlem Globetrotters.
Try this, LG. If you cruise around that site you will also find results from trial games as well.Could somebody please give a link to the IAS games this year including trials?
Thanks
Hi Crofty, this kid attends St Augustines' College, he plays for the school in the ISA therefore he is eligible for rep honours. I don't think you can or should preclude him. I see what you are trying to say. What he does on his sundays is his business. No differnt to a kid who plays baseball or has to attend rowing camp during winter or plays rep touch footy on a sunday. But I think the crux of the issue is, what is the ARU or the NSW RU or the S15 organisations doing about kids coming thru the system after they leave school ? We keep complaining about Australia lacking depth and we have this funnelling system called the Aust Schoolboy reps but why do they keep slipping thru the nets ? Anyhow, this probably deserves another thread - I am sure many will have emotional outbursts to share.Hey Pedro, don't disagree with your final para but not too sure about your first (couldn't quite distinguish the point you were trying to make).
