You called it.

Don't know if I can bring myself to watch recording.

Sounds like we dominated possession but the halves botched it for us.

I have never liked Hougaard at 9 one bit.

They lost another centre overnight - starting to get pretty thin in an area of strength for the Wallabies. But yeah, it's a coin toss.

Payne's not as much of a loss as Henshaw would be. D'Arcy can slip into 12 or Madigan too, both very much on form 12's with Henshaw back to his natural place of 13.

Only bad as these guys need time together ahead of the 6N and RWC.

I watched the first half and South Africa didn't respect Ireland. They had a mountain of possession and territory but were so inaccurate and Ill disciplined

Apparently conceding that last try has stopped us going 3rd in the world rankings. Not that I think we deserve that ranking just yet it would be nice to have

I watched it - Ireland outplayed springboks and were deserved winners....I actually have Ireland as my roughies for the RWC as with players to return from injury and depth they have - they look the goods....definitely my favourite to win this years 6 nations....

I don't think springboks game them enough respect....

That.

SA has a knack of believing their own press too much. Done this too many times in the past. It really is a lack of professionalism from coaches and senior players.

Then selections. Hougaard has been shit in the NH before. He is shit there again. No surprise. hH is a wing playing 9.

Matfield looked real slow as did Jannie du Plessis. They look old.

This will wake them up but we do not have a 9.

Congratulations on the win. Just a sensational effort from your boys.

Watching this game today before logging onto anything that could spoil the result. Very happy with the win but still have a lot of work to do ahead of the World Cup.

Hope next week we start with some key players on the bench to give others a run.

Liking the way all the hype is about England improving and Ireland has been going unnoticed. Should be going into a World Cup with back to back six nations wins,

I would think the IRU would be quietly happy at moment Kevino, a bloody good result but don't think the Irish will get carried away about it.
Like the job Schmitd is doing with team, seems to have them working to their strengths quite well!

Really raging I missed this one. Will be back home in time to see the other 2 games in our schedule but this one sounds like it was really special.

I enjoyed listening to the Irish Commentary team. I though it was a good call of the game.

They are good operators Ryle Nugent and Donal Lenihan and always enjoyable aren't they? They do a lot of the Ireland games we get here.

Miles Harrison and Stuart Barnes were good in the England v NZ match and co-commentator Andy Nichol was excellent in the Scotland game - the others were a little too Braveheart.

Our guys do a reasonable job from the studio in Oz; they hardly ever go overseas these days and if they do they let you know with vision of them there.

There's not too many better than Clarkie in calling a game - but I digress.

That was a great result for Ireland even with all the injuries they had. I didn't think they could play like that without Sean O'Brien, who is a SOB in more ways than one.

The old Clermont coaching team of Kiwis Joe Schmidt and Vern Cotter had a good weekend at Aviva and Murrayfield didn't they?

Despite the Ireland success I don't think the centre pairing has been settled. Payne is really a fullback and hasn't played well at 13 in the games I saw Ulster play this season.

He got injured on the weekend, but if Darcy is fit for the Aussie game I would play him at 12 and let Henshaw go to his best position of 13 - with Payne missing out (if available) or on the bench.
