Van der Flier is undoubtedly a good player, but he seemed to spend a heck of a lot of time standing up in the Wallabies' side of the ruck. Probably part of the Irish tactics to nullify Pocock, of which they had plenty and most were suspiciously on the wrong side of the laws as well.

So we are the only team that abides by the Law of the Game. Maybe that's our problem?


Or maybe we are just dumb, or too weak to move opponents who are in the wrong position, or too badly advised.
