Yes.

For the second point, that occurs when you bring on a non-prop injury replacement that causes uncontested scrums. It's so teams don't field an unfair team, 1 prop v 2 props etc.

So if Taa'vao is red carded. Then Ofa gets injured, you replace him with Sowakula, that causes uncontested (no TH props available) but NZ would need to drop another player.

I believe NZ should've gone down to 12 actually. Injury or cards.
I thought that too gwerty, but have a feeling I might have seen that rule was tweaked after it happened in a test.

Nope. Ireland do not understand wide. Or overlap. At least how to get it there.

If you’re gonna go uncontested scrums, do you have to send anyone at all? There was absolutely no point in bringing on Ross.
Don’t think youre allowed to bring on non prop for uncontested, like you can’t run a scrum half there
