Condescending!? No, surely not?
Well, pet, before you throw toys, you might like to know that the IRFU, WRU and RFU asked their players, refs and fans what they thought.
Thommo is doing is best though...
One "M", Scotty. Thommo was Lillee's partner in crime.
And don't start chucking it around unless you're going to take little terms of endearment, okay? Now, we'll call that quits there, deal? :thumb

Not a half-bad idea, at that. There was an IRB law interpretation; all we need to do is to get them to relax it. I know that, amongst others, the Daily Telegraph's reaction was, "Great, now, give us back rucks" - so why not get a petition started around the place? We have the fora, why not use them and send them to the various unions?

They did the same at the breakdown with the increased requirement for players to stay on their feet when the ELVs started to be cut back.
Good analogy, and I'd agree with you. I know earlier I advocated a count-down from five; fuck it, from three. "Stationary, three, two, moving, stationary, use it - three, two, one [whistle] scrum, defending team" should be the call. And stationary means if it stops moving - no matter what way it was going before that - then it's stationary.
