When he comes back from injury, assuming he finds form, where does he fit into this squad?

I want him in the Wallabies because he runs hard and straightens. We dont havbe enough guys in the team who do that - AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is the only one.

I cant see JOC (James O'Connor) being dropped. But equally, it will be very tough to justify dropping Mitchell. And we cant get rid of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper).

The only option I can think of is JOC (James O'Connor) to 12 and Ioane on one of the wings (but both he and Mitchell play on the same wing dont they?). But that would mean that the untouchable would need to go to the bench and will Robbie do that?

Ioane makes a very good bench option plays wing & 13 but a fully fit Ioane will be pushing for a start, ATM you probably couldn't drop any of the back 3 but I'm sure Drew Mitchell would have been dropped after Melbourne so a bit of pressure may stop players having a bad day.

Ioane is important for you guys he is a quality line breaker and with him drew and gilbert in the back three you dont need to much bulk at 12.

Hopefully if JOC (James O'Connor) gets a start at 12 and plays well it may spell the end for Shiteau

Ioane will be a key component come world cup time

Id like to see JOC (James O'Connor) at 12 and Ioane on one of the wings. But I am not sure that Deans will drop Giteau.
Plus if Giteau can get back to where he was 2 or 3 years ago, he will be a tremendous asset.

bench him, dont mess with the team at the moment, turner deserves to be i the squad but he only covers one position so take him out and ut iaone in. the only way you would include him is to drop AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to the bench as mr fix it.

JOC (James O'Connor) and Mitchell are been made to look good by the amount of space Quade is giving them to work with

Digby and JOC (James O'Connor) should be our 2 first choice wingers when all are fit and ready to play. Having Mitchell and Turner ready to go on the sidelines/bench would be a great luxury. Digby when fit is as explosive as any outside back in the world and must be in the starting XV. His constant injury toll is worrying but if he can play a full S15 next year and then play a full allotment of test matches we will be a better side. Not to say that Mitchell has not been good, but Ioane offers constant tackle breaking and explosive power that Mitchell does not. Plus his combination with Quade is as dangerous as any IMO.

Honestly - who cares where Digby fits into it all? Having Mitchel, Ioane, O'Connor, Turner and Hynes as your wing options is a great - all those players by next years world cup should all be interchangeable pretty easily. Although I hope Hynes continues at fullback for QLD to create some squad back up for my ol'mate Kurtley, however, I assume O'Connor goes to fullback should Beale not be available.

The backline will be fitted around Diggers when he is fully fit. Mitchell would seem the most obvious to get the can.

It probably won't happen but what about AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 12 and Diggers to 13??

Now that giteau isn't the goal kicker there's no need for him to start

Cant break up he back 3 they have been driving the attack over the last couple of months

Actually not a half bad idea. If people remember back to 2008 when the Wallabies played the BaaBaas at Wembley, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was playing 12, outside Cooper. And they had a cracking game. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)/Ioane is a bloody powerful centre combo

Our best centre combo would be imo 12. Horne 13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

Ioane should definitely get a wing, him and Mitchell for me. Bieber to the bench.

That is absolute rubbish.

It is not really is it? I mean he missed out on the initial Tri-nations squad and Deans is a massive Digby supporter. Drew has played well but he doesn't offer the creativity that Rabbit does. However wings of JOC (James O'Connor) and Digby means we are lacking a real flyer which is a tad concerning. I guess we will just have to wait and see, but I agree with Reddy as long as all these blokes stay healthy it doesn't really matter who is out there, we should still have an abundance of talent at the end of the backline regardless of the exact formula of players.

If he has a good Super season, give him wallaby gametime. If he is going to fit in he will prove it to us.

Did you miss O'Connor skinning Williams and then putting Beale over? Diggers has never been as fast as Davies/Turner/Beale etc. He's just been so incredibly strong and balanced in contact, and hard to put down.
