And just to clarify, I have met a lot of Wobs supporters who I would classify as "obnoxious pricks".

We all have our share of wankers, but it seems that a larger number of kiwi fans here in Brisbane fall into this category.

Only my observation.

A friend and I were watching bled 3 at a bar and when it ended up a draw two wallabies supporters came up to her and shouted "justice!" Then spat in her drink. Do I paint all wallabies supporters as thugs? No, just small minority are , like all other nations.

This thread is heading way down the shitter now.
Unless anyone wants to talk about the OP in any way, anecdotal accounts of the depths of depravity of opposition fans are really of no relevance to the question about the All Blacks.

My theory is that the wanker factor is much higher amongst expats and there are lots of kiwi expats in aus. Plenty of expat dickheads in London from all sources though. No one should Judge a nationality until they have watched a parochial home game in that nation.

The OP was fine, putting up a newspaper piece for discussion.
Broadly painting a nation as good or bad sports on isolated incidents is pretty sketchy.
For every Hore, or Meads there is a Kees Meuws pulling back from the scrum when Ben Darwin called out "Neck, neck" in 2003 RWC semi-final.
Every country has its history of thugs, and far more of great players who played the game hard and fair.

Great post, and agreement from me. Can't really add more.

your statements implying rugby should for be the the elite only,as the great unwashed don't care about traditional rugby values(unstated by you)concern me much more than your impressions of NZ supporters

I don't think that Scarfman implied anything of the sort. Perhaps you are being disingenuous.

Wow that is getting right into punch in the mouth territory. Not for the rugby aspect but for those actions towards a lady.

I know this is said whenever anyone does something illegal on the field, but that really is unlike Hore to do. The guy is usually the hardest yet fairest player around. 433285, mHe has a massive brain explosion, sees this little Welsh whippet in his way as he's trying to make it to a ruck, and lashes an arm out. Should he be given a relatively hefty suspension? For sure. Can we/should we judge Hore himself, let alone an entire team on that act? No.
Andrew Hore is a grub.

A deliberate shot where he had to reach up to hit Davies. The Welshman is no little whippet either at 6'6" and 19 stone. Hore would only do it in a cowardly manner from behind.

The seal-killing grub should be put out for a good long while.

You could have added that the bloke wasn't even in a direct line between the grub and the ruck on the limited viewing I have had of the incident.
Maybe the best point about it is that the Kiwis are all holier than thou over illegalities directed at them, remembering that no harm was done to McCaw by either QC (Quade Cooper) or Higgers.
They would not attract my disapproval if they didn't carry on like they never do it.
Lets not forget Richard Loe and his cowardly forearm jolt, as I think Mario Milano and co used to call it, to Paul carozza. Nothing was done about him until he gouged a fellow kiwi in the NPC and then the outrage across the ditch was palpable.
Now he is a much revered (it seems) columnist.
There is a credibility gap in NZ rugby in this one area.

This thread is useless, it adds no value and I am really disappointed that it was even created

To answer the threads question, Kiwis aren't bad sports, what a dumb question

As for Hore's work. Well, he will have plenty of time to reflect on his actions

for those who haven't seen it fox has a clip. http://www.foxsports.com.au/Rugby/h...523627037?subcat=1225914702672&site=FoxSports

For those offended by this thread I apologize. It was a article relating to rugby that i wanted to share about an incident that hadn't been brought up yet. We can debate for 100+ pages weather Quade Cooper is a bad role modal and much how should be getting paid so i thought an article like this might fit. Sorry to ruin your day fatprop.
