Did you not see it? If he hadn't landed on a highlander and rolled off him, he would have hit the ground side on.

I suppose then, if the impact of another player is involved, any player who lifts the legs but another player is wrapping the top half should be spared as well.

Please, it is about the safety of the other player. The fact that he got his arm down first should not have been a factor in the decision.

Odd ball decision, deadset knocks it on but gives us the ball, ridiculous.

Its a factor because thats the rule, severity is affected by whether the landing is on the head, shoulder or the arm. The player on the ground clearly caused the tipping action and hence the refs came to the correct conclusion given the context.

Still he was lucky, could well have been YC'd if the refs had not communicated as well as they did.

What a night for injuries. Denied the bonus point, but fair enough, after their first half fuck ups. Closer at times than many predicted. Well played Force.

Hats off to the Force for their doggedness and never-say-die attitude in extra time there. So typical for a Force performance, promising to break the shackles at times but some face-palm play at times. Geez I reckon they could be a pretty good team with Foley coaching the pigs and someone creative steering the ship.

I almost felt the if the Force had got a bonus point it would of been justice.

Totally, deserved a point. 60% territory and posession but missed 30 tackles.

Highlanders, 18 knock ons. That's almost one every 4 minutes. Partly due to Force pressure, partly due to brick hands.

Pretty sure Osborne doesn't know how to carry or pass with two hands, works out well though (most of the time).

Landers open match with staggered defensive line wft was that just help yourself fellas.

14 pts down after about 2 minutes.

Then they proceed to drop the fuckin ball 300 times to be on the wrong end of handling errors by around 20 to 5 by the end...... and still win the game in a canter.

yes, here7s where you say "The Western Force battled bravely" but ffs.

Just nothing there.

Still the marsipan of meat pies.

Still the carob of conversion.

Jeeze, well done on the force for matching it with the Como leaders. But what a tough team to watch. Kicking away ball with 5 to go. Stuffing up as many line puts as possible. Scrums good one moment and a cracked egg the next. Heartbreaking.

Nice debut by the young fella Richard Hardwick. An injection of youthful exuberance required.
